McCain on Election Day Fraud, and The Voting Preferences of Mickey Mouse

(PETERBOROUGH, N.H.) – John McCain has held over a hundred town halls during this election season, and he widely credits them for keeping his campaign afloat during the primaries. Tonight he held his final town hall meeting of the campaign, where the first question was about the integrity of Election Day on Tuesday.

"I'm concerned about many of the allegations that we are hearing through the media, particularly in some of the battleground states. And the activities, quite frankly, of ACORN and other organizations," McCain said. "It is disturbing, and one thing we want is to not have a repeat of the year 2000, the election in 2000. We want the American people to have confidence in the results, confidence in government is directly related to the confidence in the process that they pursued. So I am concerned about it, I do know that the FBI is conducting an investigation, and we will obviously have people who are observing the elections. I just hope that it all comes out so that there is no question about the election."

But McCain couldn't resist poking a little fun at the whole controversy, as well.

"By the way, I heard that Mickey Mouse was registered in Florida to vote now," McCain added. "I don't know if we ought to investigate that because I think the big rat is a Republican."

Greenspan and Caox and another before a congressional committee strongly disagree. Given Greenspan''s previously known position in favor of deregulation, it should be clear that a change of position on his part is not trivial. He stated his surprise at learning BUSINESS DID NOT ACT IN IT"S OWN BEST INTEREST. Further amplified later with statements I understood to state that management acted in their own best interest and not that of either the stockholders or the employees. When it comes to the indictment of "laissez-faire" economics or deregulation I would say authoritative sources have spoken and the verdict is failure.

Which brings us to why John McCain still insists on repeating this fiasco with Health Insurance when his own campaign admit his plan will create insurance inferior to that by employers who are expected to drop coverage in significant numbers? There is not reasonable or supportable answer to that question other than GREED.; Reply to this comment

by PacificGatePost November 3, 2008 12:53 AM EST: It is evident that there is little agreement on the source of the current economic problem facing the nation. With so much confusion, and fingers pointing in opposite directions, NOTHING will get done. Obama has no understanding of economics, and neither does McCain.

Wishes and hope are wonderful ephemerally positive energies for a society to feel, nevertheless, 350 million need to pay the rent and feed themselves.

It is incorrect that "laissez-faire" economics were to blame. If anything, there was tremendous government and bureaucratic meddling to promulgate the process. Granted, you can lay the stupidity of going into Iraq at the Bush doorstep. It was misguided, strategically vacuous, and insanely expensive.It also damaged credibility. Overwhelming confidence in overpowering military technology created an arrogance that could only blind an already ideologically bent leadership. This financial mess everyone is in, however, lies more at the feet of a Congress that looked the other way. This was simply Humans acting Human, and some humans getting a little grease to "go along." For example, check out the amount doled out to Congress by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Where will the magic come from to REALLY solve this mess?

As for voter fraud, it is laughable to hear a REPUBLICAN like McBush talk about "hearing about it" as if the last two STOLEN ELECTIONS weren''t proof of the Republican mastery of stealing elections by voter suppression. The GOP should be outlawed after this election for its crimes against the Constitution. The GOP is simply a cover for NeoCon Traitors who sacrifice our service men and women for the profit of Halliburton, Enron, Exxon, etc. McCain is a gutless fool who signed a confession in Vietnam but claims that makes him a HERO! He''s disgusting for his lack of shame, integrity and honor. He claims to be FOR ETHICS yet he and his wife are both GUILTY in KEATING 5 SCANDAL.
