From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(LATROBE, PA) - Perhaps no state is more key to John McCain and Sarah Palin's hopes for a come-from-behind victory than Pennsylvania. Though The Republicans have trailed badly in most recent polls, they have devoted a huge amount of time and energy to the state.

As Sarah Palin spends her entire Halloween Day snaking on a bus tour across Pennsylvania, a recent Mason-Dixon/NBC News poll showing the Republicans trialing by just four points in the state, giving them reason for hope.

The Alaska governor begins her day with an airport rally in Latrobe and travels east with stops in Somerset, New Paris, Breezewood, York, and Mechanicsville.

I believe that my generation of women was the first to come of age with most of us believing that the world would be fair to us.

Women have not been treated with equal respect in this campaign but at least women are in it!

Can you even imagine NOT being able to vote?

Thanks to the suffragettes, America has women voters and wide range of women candidates, and we are a better country for it!

Women have voices and choices! Just like men.

But it saddens me that so few people know ALL of the suffering that our suffragettes had to go through, and what life was REALLY like for women.

Now you can subscribe FREE to my exciting e-mail series that goes behind the scenes in the lives of eight of the world%u2019s most famous women to reveal the shocking and sometimes heartbreaking truth of HOW women won the vote.

Dramatic, sequential short story e-mail episodes have readers from all over the world raving about the original historical series, %u201CThe Privilege of Voting.%u201D

Read this FREE e-mail series on your coffeebreaks and fall in love with these amazing women!

Just saw them. For Halloween, Willow is an elephant and Piper is a snow princess. Maybe Scott Conroy can fill in more details since he is on the road.

Blondshag...you are no Hillary supporter. Palin is anti-women''s rights, anti-equal pay, anti-environment, doesn''t support privacy rights, doesn''t understand separation of powers, and has the foreign policy of her beloved mascot, the pitbull...

If president, she''ll lead us all into WWIII along with her other trigger-happy, trophy hunting whack job buddies. The only reason the moderate McCain put her on the ticket was to shore up right wing support.

Religious zealots are no different in this country as they are anywhere else...so let''s all grab our guns and prepare for the end to come.

McCain/Palin will flush us all down the same toliet...and I don''t think Joe the Fake Plumber will come to the rescue.

The title is apt. Snake: "a worthless or treacherous fellow" (www.m-w.com). When Palin said Obama would "experiment with socialism" - she was both inaccurate (see: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/826/, http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2008/10/31/socialism/index.html, etc.) and treacherous as in:

1: characterized by or manifesting treachery : perfidious
2 a: likely to betray trust : unreliable a treacherous memory b: providing insecure footing or support treacherous quicksand c: marked by hidden dangers, hazards, or perils
synonyms see faithless (www.m-w.com).

She manipulates the emotions of people who are too ignorant and/or prejudice to figure out that she is lying. Her lies incite fear, hate and unrest in the people she is supposed to be leading - and imperil the nation.

Sarah is a Snake.

CBS news always finds away to trash Palin. Journalism students will see this. You use the word ''snake''?

The liberal media attacks against Palin continue. CBS is pathetic.

What the good mother is too busy to spend a few hours with her kids on Halloween? Oh right...I forgot, Halloween is of the devil. This is one woman who is full of discord, hate, and lies....just like the political right wing nutjobs who are her base. Sounds kind of devily to me.

We down here is Pennsylvania is impressed with knowledge not stupidity. Sarah speaks like the one thing surban moms don''t like "trailer trash". McCain thinks they have a chance because Lynn Swann who is black did poorly in the government race. However Barack is different he got support from both blacks and white. In addition Barack is intelligent something Pennsylvanians prefer.
