Graham v. Phelps Instead of McCain v. Obama for North Carolina?

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:

(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) – McCain's good friend and fellow senator Lindsey Graham is so confident in John McCain winning North Carolina, he likened it to a most unlikely swimming competition.

"John McCain's going to win North Carolina," Graham said as he introduced McCain here today. "I'll beat Michael Phelps in swimming before Barack Obama wins North Carolina. Don't let me down because I can't swim."

Graham has also mentioned on the campaign trail that he was a "lousy" wrestler, and that even though he played football all four years of high school, the first time he stepped on the field was when he introduced McCain last week at a high school stadium in Durango, Colorado.

Nobody wants to see the esteemed senator from South Carolina drown, but the Republican voters of North Carolina have their work cut out for them, as Obama is holding a slim lead here in most polls.

A leader making bets and loosing and then wanting their voters to pay for it, is simply nothing but arrogance. Lindsey Graham must think his voters are stupid of something.

If the average citizen was given the choice of saving their arrogant elected officials from loosing a bet, or saving their country by casting their vote, I think the value system in most drive them to save the country and let their arrogant elected leader pay for the bets they loose.

The polls have been wrong before, and without any assistance from the media, hard working Americans are finally getting the message that Obama is trying to pull off the biggest con job America has ever seen, financed by Iraq,Suadi''s,Soros and every other anti-American group. They have been working from the inside for years by having Acorn register democrats in the droves and deceive them into thinking that they would actually help them.Look at Michigan;totally run by democrats, and it''s a travesty!Anyone living in a city with that kind of politicians,PLEASE GET RID OF THEM.How much sense does it make to continue to elect these idiots, thinking that they''re going to help you.Don''t you realize that they''re just padding their wallets.Pelosi is worth several million,as are her cohorts on congress. The Democratic congress has a lower approval rating than Bush.Have you heard that homeless people in Ohio can vote using the park bench as an address? What has happened to a fair election?I''m all in favor of every eligible person voting, but not without a picture ID and proper address.
