Palin Makes 11th Visit To Pa.
Palin Makes 11th Visit To Pa.
From CBS News' Scott Conroy:
(HERSHEY, Pa.) When Sarah Palin's plane touched down in Harrisburg last night, it marked the start of her eleventh trip to Pennsylvania as a vice presidential candidate. Palin has campaigned here more often than any other battleground state, demonstrating just how much the campaign has invested in staging a come-from-behind win in Pennsylvania.
Palin's visit got off to an inauspicious start this morning, as the forecasted mix of rain and snow forced the governor to cancel her joint rally with John McCain in Quakertown.
But several thousand people have already arrived at the GIANT Center in Hershey, where Palin and McCain will appear on stage together. Palin will then hold two solo rallies in Shippensburg and State College, which are located in the state's midsection where the Republicans much rack up a big margin of victory in order to pull off a Pennsylvania upset a week from today.
