McCain Accuses Obama of More Than Just Measuring the Drapes

From CBS News' John Bentley:

(MESILLA, N.M.) – "When I pull this thing off, I have a request for my opponent," John McCain said at rally here today. "I want him to save that manuscript of his inaugural address and donate it to the Smithsonian, so they can put it right next to the Chicago paper that says 'Dewey defeats Truman.'"

Taking aim squarely at what McCain's campaign feels is the presumptiveness of Barack Obama, McCain was referring to a report in the New York Times that says John Podesta has already drafted an inaugural address for Obama.

"There's ten days left in this election, maybe Barack Obama will even have his first State of he Union address ready before you head to the polls," McCain continued. "I guess I'm a little old fashioned about these things. I'd prefer to let the voters weigh in before presuming the outcome."

The Obama campaign says the charge is "completely false," and points out that the address McCain is referring to appears in a book Podesta wrote before Obama was the nominee.

Is that what he should be concerned about. This is why, he is losing votes. Drapes, is the least of his problems.....

Poor John Mccain. He is eaten up with envy. and he cannot talk about issues like the economy or war or healthcare or anything important....because he MUST be eaten up with his envy of Obama winning th election. Or.... maybe he really is worried about his arch enemy Palin, who is ready to rip flesh from his bones....his OWN running mate...how sad. She was simply floor dirt...and he gave her a chance....and she is now trying to rip him by the arteries. Poor dude, she is such a diva, and treats all that way. Reap what you sow, mccain. Stand to endure the attack of the pitbull. she will rip you apart and laugh at you...in her new expensive clothes and makeup. dogs sometimes have no loyalty.

McCain''s worried about Obama having a speech ready? McCain should be worried about the "rogue" Palin on the loose. McCain''s a maverick who doesn''t worry about such things as having a game plan, or choosing someone who wouldn''t turn tail and run on him if things got a little rough. It''s every person for themselves in McCainland!!!

Sarah Palin and her husband are traitors who are in bed with the group "FRINGE" who believes ALASKA should not be apart of America! McCain didn''t suspend his campaign for the economic crisis, he went to consult with Bush on how he should go after Obama. McCain already has the measurements for drapes, he''s been walking the halls for 25 years!

The gist of this report is that McCain has said something that Obama says is false. Don''t you find it odd that you don''t mention that McCain''s claim i is /i clearly false?
