In Florida, Obama And Hillary Clinton Together Again

(CHICAGO) Barack Obama heads to Florida today to kick off the first day of early voting in that battleground state and he'll be joined by Hillary Clinton for the first time since her June in-person endorsement of Obama in Unity, N.H.

With record numbers of Democrats registered through out the country, Obama is trying to prompt as many voters as possible to go to the polls as early as possible.

"You can vote today, tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, you just find a day and go out and cast your ballot," he told supporters in North Carolina yesterday, "We want to get as many votes in as possible as early as possible."

Former rival Clinton will be on her own campaigning most of the day and will join Obama at an evening rally in Orlando.

Obama has been mentioning Clinton more frequently on the stump, telling crowds that she taught him not to get overconfident during an election. "I learned a good lesson from my friend Hillary Clinton up in New Hampshire – that you can't let up or pay too much attention to the polls. We've got to keep making our case for change," he said this weekend.

Obama has spent the majority of his time this month in states, cities, and counties that voted Republican. This is part of the campaign's overall plan to expand the map come November 4.

That is an interesting study. With the consideration more small employees would drop their employees'' coverage if Obama were elected and provided a federal health plan, the numbers would go higher. They would also go higher if Obama raised the taxes of small businesses as he has stated.

This is the cost of Obama''s program and remember, health care is an ongoing cost...yearly....$65 billion dollars,opposed to approximately $13 billion for John McCain.

McCain likes to lie and say Obama will "raise your taxes!" to scare voters, nothing but an absolute lie. Obama''s tax plan is very clear cut and will lower taxes for 95% of Americans. The 5% who will pay higher taxes are the wealthiest Americans who wouldn''t be wealthy if it were not for the rest of the American people who have worked so hard for so many years to create the prosperity we once enjoyed. Those who have grabbed all of our money, in the trillions, in either tax cuts or WASTING it on Iraq like Bush has done OWE THE WORKING CLASS and it''s time to pay up! This is now OUR time and we will take this country back from them if we have to rip it from their greedy hands. McCain likes to say as he did in the debate that if Obama raises taxes on the wealthy, their companies won''t be able to hire people and create jobs? Well I have this to say Mr. BS artist McCain, for 8 years YOU supported Bush and his huge tax cuts for the wealthy, and we now have the biggest jobless rate in US history and the most dismal economy since the great depression, so take your lame tax plan and economic agenda and STICK it. I''ll take my chances on a serious departure from the failed policies of Bush, McCain and the Republians and vote for Barack Obama for REAL change, that we need, desperately before America becomes one big wasteland, disaster area. OBAMA ALL THE WAY.

Indeed, it is heartening to know that the extremely modest contributions that I made to the Obama/Biden campaign have been added to the collective outpouring of people just like me! It''s the real people on Main Street who are coming together in unity to make the difference in this campaign! High five to all the volunteers and the ordinary average people from every walk of American life who have bonded as brothers and sisters with a common positive goal during this historic and uplifting time! Go Obama! Go USA!!

I''m early voting and volunteering today, watching "W" with friends tonight, and attending the rally in Miami tomorrow.


The GOP and John McCain are running the dirtiest campaign in history, but with $150 million, Obama will be able to fight the smears and take Florida! This is a great American success story! A US President funded by real Americans - no crooked PACS/lobbyists - FINALLY!!!


President Obama is funded by and will answer to people like me... millions of voters sending small amounts of cash ($100 or less) each month and volunteering to help bring change... This is REAL public financing!


BUT WE NEED EVERY VOTE WE CAN GET!!! VOTE TODAY!!! VOLUNTEER!!! CANVASS!!! MAKE CALLS!!! DRIVE YOUR FRIENDS TO THE POLLS!!! WE WILL ONLY WIN IF WE SHOW UP AND VOTE!!!
