From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(NEWARK, N.J.) - On the heels of last night's appearance on "Saturday Night Live," Sarah Palin returns to the serious business of trying to help the Republican ticket close the Democrats' lead with only 16 days to go before Election Day.

After spending last week in critical eastern swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and North Carolina, Palin heads out west to New Mexico, where she'll hold a late afternoon rally in Roswell. The city is best known for a rumored UFO crash in 1947, but Palin won't have much time to hang out with flying saucer enthusiasts, as she heads directly to Colorado Springs after the Roswell airport hanger rally ends.

The Alaska governor will continue to highlight her western roots as she tries to connect with voters on issues like gun rights and smaller government as she stumps across Colorado and Nevada on Monday and Tuesday.

The idea that any serious UFO researcher would endorse Sara Palin is way further out than any speculation about Alien Contact could ever be.
We''ve had 8 more years of secrecy, elitism, and the continual erosion of civil liberties by the Neocons and their Master Plan, the Project for a New American Century.
Neocon fascists will never, ever be in favor of Disclosure, one of the key goals of serious reseachers into the field of UFO''s.
And lastly, the idea that Sara Palin is the epitome of American Womanhood because she was chosen at the 11th hour as a Hail Mary play by McBush is one of the most demeaning assessments possible about women.

No Scott, it is a UFO = it''s the Unfit For Office Palin action figure coming to a town near you...with her two dogs, Rush and Hannity, by her side...hope Roswell is a "Pro-America" part of the country. Well, if not, New Mexico can always secede from the US...like the Palin''s plan for Alaska.

The McCain-Palin campaign has made a strong statement asserting that candidates'' children were not to be used as fodder for the "liberal media" or any other media. I agree with this policy. Children should not be used as pawns in an election or at any other time. Then, can someone tell me why, in the name of all that is sacred, was Sarah Palin using her sweet baby Trig at a rally in Lancaster Pa. It''s perfectly sound judgement to bring out a baby early in the cold morning to parade him around for the crowds and begging for votes, but it is not ok for any one to mention the callous mother who uses her baby for her own aggrandizement. If it had been a puppy, the SPCA would have been on Palin like white on rice. Since it was a defenseless child and she is his mother, she must know what she is doing?

i know it''s not nice, but i suspect maybe palin is the creature who escaped

i mean, she was not abducted by aliens, she walked off the space craft

The only aliens Palin believes in are the dinosaurs Palin thinks were walking with humans 6000 years ago.

I believe that my generation of women was the first to come of age with most of us believing that the world would be fair to us.

Of course, that hasn''t always been the case. When I realized that I didn''t know how my freedom happened I set out on a journey of discovery and found inspiration in countless suffragettes.

I stand on their strong shoulders, and on the shoulders of other women who demand the full range of human rights for women.

I want to share that inspiration.

Can you even imagine being a woman and NOT being able to vote?

Thanks to the suffragettes, America has women voters and wide range of women candidates, including Clinton and Palin, and we are a better country for it!

Women have voices and choices!

But few people know ALL of the suffering that our suffragettes had to go through, and what life was REALLY like for women.

Now you can subscribe FREE to my exciting e-mail series that goes behind the scenes in the lives of eight of the world''s most famous women to reveal the shocking and sometimes heartbreaking truth of HOW women won the vote.

Thrilling, dramatic, sequential short story e-mail episodes have readers from all over the world raving about the original historical series, "The Privilege of Voting."
