McCain's Tina Fey Mention Draws Jeers From The Crowd

(WOODBRIDGE, VA.) -- Usually it's only the mention of Barack Obama or the national media that get boos at McCain rallies, but today it was Tina Fey.

McCain mentioned that his running mate was appearing on "Saturday Night Live" tonight, and a hearty boo came up from the crowd when McCain mentioned the cast member that impersonates Sarah Palin:

"As you know she's going to be with Tina Fey, who I think is her twin sister," McCain said to boos from the crowd. "I think they were separated at birth, but anyway, I know she'll do a great job."

Fey mentioned earlier this week that she's "leaving earth" if McCain and Palin were elected, which could account for her lack of popularity at Republican rallies.

Can you really be counted on if McCain drops dead from the stress of being President. Doesn''t it bother you that you were chosen as the GOP running mate simply because you are female?
By the way Ms. Palin, it seems that all you can do is talk "dirty gossip" innuendo and ***...verses actually speaking about the nation''s problems and how you and Grumpy McCain will guide the country to fix the problems...

You should be working for a big corporation as a spokes person.. AIG would have been perfect for you...You have NO place being one step away fro the Oval office... you are a token and a joke.

If the citizens of the US would think of the country as a corporation and that we are the stock holders..I doubt that you would be hired as an executive to help run the corporation..When hiring a VP for a serious (corp.) position, qualifications mean more than your hobbies of shooting moose, misusing your power (trooper gate) and trying to get books banned from libraries...; Reply to this comment

by eroosevelt08 October 19, 2008 4:19 AM EDT: Did you see Senator McCain roll his eyes, grimace and seethe during the third debate? Who would want that guy to negotiate anything? He cannot even control his temper.
I think President Obama will prove to be a careful, thoughtful president who knows enough to gather the best and brightest in his midst who will speak truth to power. He is very smart and able to think on several levels at the same time. He reminds me of Bill Clinton in that way. The international community would have to throw away a lot of their stereotyped views of us, the citizens of the United States if we elect a person of color. Let us go forth like Obama says and grow this nation all we can from the bottom up so more people in this country have a better life of peace and prosperity. Somebody has to start fixing the mess we are in and that somebody is us. We are they and better days are coming.; Reply to this comment

If you want to talk about Obama, only a stupid fool would say that he has NEVER lied or cheated at anything. As far as him comming from Chicago, I would say good on him for comming from such a corupt place as you say and showing us that not everyone in politics is corupt. I guess everyone in Illinois must be corupt, because it wasn''t just Chicago that voted him to be State Senator and US Senator. I along with everone from Illinois would sure love to see your proof.

If he were as bad as you republicans try to make him out to be, why isn''t he locked up awaiting a trial that will never happen. I would imagine it''s because after 2 years of drudging up the same stuff you republicans havent been able to make it believable.

Lastly I would like to ask you the same question about McCain/Palin, Where they are planning to get the money to pay for the Billions they are planning to spend on Programs. They are planning a spending freeze on everything but Military and Oil. McCain was extremely embarrassing on Letterman, now Palin want''s to go prove she''s a bigger joke than he is by appearing on SNL.

McCain/Palin wont be happy until the word republican is just another word for embarrassment.
