Palin Tells Limbaugh She Has "Nothing To Lose"

(CBS)
From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(SCRANTON, PA.) - Before delivering her stump speech here in Joe Biden's hometown, Sarah Palin called in for her first interview with conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh.

"Rush, I've got nothing to lose in this and I think America's got everything to gain by understanding the differences—the contrasts here between Obama and McCain," she said.

Unprompted by Limbaugh, Palin brought up her concerns about accusations of voter registration fraud.

"Speaking of some of those associations, let's talk quickly about ACORN and the unconscionable situation that we are facing right now with voter fraud, given the ties between Obama and ACORN and the money his campaign has sent them," Palin said.

"Obama has a responsibility to reign in ACORN and prove that he is willing to fight voter fraud....for shame if the mainstream media were to cover this one up."

Limbaugh asked Palin about whether she thought she had a political future beyond this election.

"That's a good question," she said. "No, because I am thinking about November 4th, and I am just so absolutely passionate about the job that we have in front of us from now to November 4th."

Considering that if Todd Palin were to apply for a job with the US government or even to work as a contractor that would put him in contact with sensitive classified information, he''d be ineligible due to his association with the AIP - I think the entire US as well as the Republican party have a LOT to worry about. Why was this not taken into consideration before she was tapped to run for VPOTUS?

What''s so bad about the AIP? The AIP has long been aligned closely with paramilitary militia groups -- the kind that fear black helicopters and a United Nations takeover of the US.

Indeed, under the leadership of AIP''s tough-talking founder, Joe Vogler, AIP allied itself with the Islamic dictatorship in Iran in 1993 so that Vogler could appear at the United Nations to appeal for Alaska''s freedom from US "tyranny."

A fellow AIP member murdered Vogler before he could take the UN stage. The current AIP chairwoman, Lynnette Clark, believes that Vogler''s killer was framed and all but blames the Federal government for Vogler''s "execution."

Nothing to loose?
The fact that she has nothing to GIVE, is the reason she has nothing to loose. How she became a Governor of a State in our Union, is a mystery to me. Her political future? As we are seeing, she will have a hell of a time holding on to her Governorship. One thin I remember about the locals in Alaska when I was there in 99, was thay tolerated no "ABUSE OF POWER"

"REGISTRATION FRAUD" is not "VOTER FRAUD"

The biggest problem is the approximately 1.2 million American voters that the Republican VOTER SUPPRESSION EFFORTS will DISENFRANCHISE.

ACORN is simply another "Fox Fantasy"

The TINY NUMBER of "questioned" ACORN registrations will have NO EFFECT ON THE ELECTION

10,000 QUESTIONED registrations out of 1,300,000 ACORN Registrations are "suspect"

That is only 0.7% of all the registrations filed by Acorn

10,000 QUESTIONED registrations out of 212,000,000 registered voters in the USA

So the QUESTIONED registrations are only 0.004% of ALL VOTERS in the USA.

ALL OF THESE QUESTIONED REGISTRATIONS will be REJECTED by the county registrars. So NO VOTER FRAID will occur.

This was NOT an effort to CREATE VOTES IN THE ELECTION. NONE of these false REGISTRATIONS were going to result in actual VOTES.

These false registrations were done by EMPLOYEES TRYING TO UP THEIR REGISTRATION NUMBERS. These "phantoms" were NEVER going to SHOW UP at the polls! So NO VOTER FRAUD would have occurred.

So this "Registration Fraud" is really just a smokescreen by McCain, and the GOP and an attempt to throw doubt into the campaign by a candidate who is losing badly.

Palin is right. SHE has nothing to lose, it will be McCain''s loss, not hers. It''s the end of McCain''s career, not hers. as long as she panders to the far-right, attacks those "liberal socialists" who want to surrender to "terrorists" and raise taxes and keep abortions legal, then she''ll have 20% of the dumb wing of the diminished Republican party supporting her. A moose shooting, beauty queen, everymom is too good a brand to give up.

She may have sank the McCain campaign but she''ll sail off into the safe harbor of Kool-Aid bay and recover at the right-wingnut bar and grill.

Does Sarah Palin have a political future? Not on the national stage under her current guise. She''s done: too partisan, not well-briefed on current events, and her unscrupulous aggression has played badly with a stinking odor to independents.

That said, America is always willing to forgive. She will have time to burnish her skills, to better understand how to convey her hard right ideology wrapped up in her folksy charm by studying Reagan and his sunny optimism. The main thing working against her is Palin''s apparent lack of patience and curiosity. It also depends on how much traction her nutty alliance with the secessionist Alaska Independence Party and her odd religious ideas stick in the memories from this campaign. If voters ultimately decide she''s a kook from the fringes, she might never get a chance for an Act Two.

I know its crazy to think a black man could not like Obama, you know bein weez gots the same skin and all. Obama is nothing like me or the rest of black America you moron. He is a rich white boy who happens to have a black father. He hasn''t had to work for anything in his life, its all been given to him by his racist white grandparents. I wish there was a real black man running today. Someone who knows what it is to be black and live in the real world. Someone who doesn''t have to go to a church full of racist hate to make them look real. You know a church that says you live in the US KKK of A. I go to a church that is full of black and white people who want to hear about GOD not hate and fear. I am a proud black man who lives in the greatest place on earth- USA. I work hard and sometimes I have set backs because of my race, and that makes me work even harder. I don''t need a hand out from the D-party or some rich white guy, and i really don''t need a hand out from a fake punk like Obama! The real racist moron is you element51 and all the pitiful people like you!
