Palin: Obama Is "Palling Around With Terrorists"

From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(DENVER) It's safe to say that the gloves are now officially off.

At a fundraiser in Denver, Sarah Palin seized on a New York Times story about Barack Obama's alleged connection to former Weather Underground member William Ayers.

"Our opponent though is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country," Palin said.

Palin said that she brought up the connection "in fairness to the electorate."

"We gotta start telling people what the other side represents," Palin said.

The oldest trick in the book. In a difficult election when you''re in a hard place and are losing, go for ANYTHING and grab on to it with your life. SMEAR BABY SMEAR--and hope that people are too stupid to check the facts.Along the way you may pick up a couple of fools. Palin has no integrity--Obama can certainly claim more than her. Now Palin feels she is the "informed" candidate since she "passed" the debate thanks ONLY to intense coaching...? She really takes us for ignorant, uniformed fools?! Today, in a time where we are up to the minute and can find anything through the internet? Honestly, the thought that people would believe in her is frightening. Folks, this is the woman that will advise McCain on important issues..To me, all issues are secondary, except for avoiding annihilation. McCain doesn''t even want to TRY and talk to Iranian leaders (contrary to what you are told,it is *NOT* Ahmadinejad). A war with Iran (which McCain/Palin would jump right into without a second thought) would be irreversible, unsuccessful (with *no* winners) and catastrophic.PLEASE, please vote for Obama

Palin is actually married to a documented secessionist, Todd Palin, who is a former member of the Alaska Independence Party. He was comfortable belonging to and being associated with a political party whose founder seemed to delight in denouncing the principles that hold our union together. Talk about consorting with people who hate America, Palin is married to one.

I am so tired of the liberal media and their utter regard for unbiased truth. Sarah Palin is the most refreshing part of this entire presidential campaign. She doesn''t talk Washington-ese and is truthful to a fault.... What about all the negative, half-truths that Obama and Biden are spreading around the country... Biden at least has an excuse for half-truths after an aneurysm.. perhaps it has affected his memory... but then again he was lying (plagarism) in college too I guess

This is very interesting. I thought she could read ... nothing in that article says he is friend with the guy.

This is the same Palin that''s married to a member of secessionist movement!

So where has the press been for the 2 years Obama has been campaigning for President. Why is it only now "discovering" his releationship with the old Weatherman bombing champion? Does it really want for President a man whose original fan club hated America and was committed to destroying it?

By his choice, John McCain has shown he lacks the wisdom required of a President.

HE LACKS THE WISDOM AND THE LACK OF INTEGRITY TO BE PRESIDENT LET ALONE SENATOR IT IS SO OBVIOUS WITH THIS MAN NO WONDER HE WORKS ACROSS THE AISLE NO ONE WANTS TO LISTEN TO HIM HE IS INSANE.

Pastdue 1 is absolutely wrong and is a McCain supporter! The only way to fight against the lies and smears from the unpatriotic right wing is to attack more

If you will reread my post , I said not to attack WITH UNTRUTHS.
However, I must be getting to someone if I am being accused of being a McCain supporter. Just because someone does not call names and stoop to untruths does not make them any less a supporter of Obama/Biden. I realize that many McCain/Palen supporters find this difficult to understand though.
