Palin Chides Biden For Being Overconfident

From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(COLUMBUS, OHIO) - Though candidates typically try to lower expectations in advance of debates, Sarah Palin indicated that she would deliver a stronger than expected performance at Thursday's showdown with Joe Biden.

"I've never met him before, but I've been hearing about his senate speeches since I was in like 2nd grade," Palin said at a rally here with John McCain.

"I have to admit though, he is a great debater and looks pretty doggone confident like he's sure he's gonna win, but then again, this is the same Senator Biden who said the other day that the University of Delaware would trounce the Ohio State Buckeyes. Wrong!"

Palin was referring to a comment Biden made almost two weeks ago, in which the Delaware senator notified members of the University of Delaware football team that he "told the folks in Ohio that we'd kick Ohio State's ass!"

With her daughter Willow standing beside her on stage, Palin praised McCain's performance in Friday night's debate against Barack Obama and accused the Democrat of using the financial crisis for personal political gain.

"He was the only man on that stage who talked about the wars that America is fighting and wasn't afraid to use the word victory," she said.

"He was the only man on that stage who will solve our economic crisis and not exploit it, the maverick who always puts country first, and he was the only man on that stage in that debate who has a plan that will actually help working families and get the American economy back on track, as you all deserve."

Here''s an idea (and it supports a good cause, too)!

If you think Palin is as empty-headed as I do, you might want to make a donation to Planned Parenthood, in Sarah Palin''s name. The best part is that when you make a donation to Planned Parenthood in her name, they''ll send her a card telling her that the donation has been made in her honor. (At the PlannedParenthood.org website, click on "Donate" and then "Honorary Donations".)

You can donate $5 or $10 or whatever... a good way to spend a few bucks and get some satisfaction! When asked to fill in the address to send the "in Sarah Palin''s honor" card to, you can use the address for the McCain campaign headquarters, which is:

McCain for President
1235 S. Clark Street
1st Floor
Arlington, VA 22202

"If Sarah Palin was listening to Biden in political debates in the 2nd grade how many times did she have to repeat that grade? From as near as I can tell she was something like 14-15 years old when he was elected. Thats what 7 attempts at 2nd grade?"

Let''s see if I can decipher liberal math. 44-36=8. That would be the age of a second grader.

Now about the money crunch. Borrow more than you can pay back. Bad. Blame Republicans. Good. Thank you Dems for your wonderful service in *** the rest of us.

John Mc Cain suspended his campaign momentarily last week to return to Washington to work on the crisis. His chief strategist, Steve Schmidt, said %u201CWhat Senator McCain was able to do was to help bring all of the parties to the table, including the House Republicans, whose votes were needed to pass this.%u201D

If McCain wanted credit for passage, should he share some of the blame for its defeat? Two thirds of half Republicans voted for its defeat...after a weekend of telephone call diplomacy from McCain.

Joe Biden might say something that will make us say Oops, but he is intelligent and knows about the US Economy, Foreign Affairs and how the Government works. He also goes home every evening from DC to be with his family so he understands everyday Americans. If Sarah Palin makes it to the debate she might do OK, but if McCain gets elected and she is VP it will be a disaster to the US that will dwarf the Wall Street/US Economic bailout. Can you say Katrina X 1,000,000?

I guess Sarah has been faking it for the last month and there really is a "brain" in that pretty head. I don''t think Biden is over-confident in the least as he knows just how lethal the GOP spin machine can be. She can get stomped and the GOP will spin it in such a way that the faithful will think she won (even if she is not even able to remember her name).

The media is hiding this one.Muslim women and children(babies) were gassed in Dayton Ohio while saying their prayers. It is believed to be as a result of a dvd called "Obsession" that a 501 group mailed out to swing state voters in the millions.I think McCain should have addressed this issue while he was in Ohio today. The DVD was a hate film against Muslims. The 501 group support John McCain.
