From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.) In her second national TV interview since joining the Republican ticket, Sarah Palin told Fox News' Sean Hannity about how she made the decision with her family to accept John McCain's offer to be his running mate.

"It was a time of asking the girls to vote on it, anyway," Palin said. "And they voted unanimously, yes. Didn't bother asking my son because, you know, he's going to be off doing his thing anyway, so he wouldn't be so impacted by, at least, the campaign period here."

Palin's 19-year-old Track joined the military on Sept. 11 of last year and is being deployed to Iraq in a Stryker Brigade.

Later in the interview, Hannity asked Palin if she saw Tina's Fey's impression of her on "Saturday Night Live." Palin said that she did see it, but she didn't listen to Fey's stinging satire.

"I watched with the volume all the way down and I thought it was hilarious, she was spot on," Palin said.

"Do you think you could play her one day?" Hannity asked.

"Oh, absolutely, Palin said. "It was hilarious. Again, I didn't hear a word she said, but the visual was spot on."

A day after the "Saturday Night Live" spot aired, Palin Spokesperson Tracey Schmitt told CBS News, "She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween."

But senior McCain adviser Carly Fiorina called the skit "disrespectful."

It is frightening to me that anyone would even consider voting the Palin McCain ticket into office. This is not a popularity contest, nor is it a contest for Best POW.
Our country is in one hell of a mess due to the policies of the Bush-Republican based policies of which McCain is so tightly aligned (let''s be honest there is really no denying it). I suggest that we send an appropriated bill out to anyone that voted for Bush to help bail us out of this fiscal disaster that we are in. Seriously folks our finances, our national pride and common sense says we must vote for the Obama/Biden ticket. Again it is not a popularity contest.

You guys are incredible, do you really think the candidates on either side of the aisle have time to sit around watching and rewatching Saturday Night Live? She said she was on a plane and had the volume turned down low, I really don''t think her top concern is what TIna Fey was saying. I think that if that was her top concern then we are all in trouble. What are you all so afraid of anyway? Why are you so threatend by her? Why are you so high on an elitist Democratic candidate that has certainly done his share of lying, and what about his hack of a Vice Presidential candidate that said today that paying higher taxes is "patriotic." And by the way, remember when Biden originally said when he was campaigning to be President, that he would be "proud to serve with John McCain". How quickly he turned on that line when he was picked as the VP candidate for Barack.

Oh and incidentally, do you remember when he said Barack was an "articulate, goodlooking clean African American". Those were Biden''s words. Real statesman like, or maybe his comment about every 7 11 is owned by Indians, is more of a "presidential" way to speak, and you want to criticize Sarah Palin?

The Democrats once again have brought in candidates that will not be able to close the deal. Most Americans are not as far left as Barack and when it comes down to the who they vote for in the voting booth, Barack and Hack Biden will come up short.

Can this woman utter a single word or phrase that is not a lie. Who among us would not view the replay to listen to what is said even if they missed it the first time. Palin should be tied up to a lie detector before being allowed to open her mouth.
Fed up!

Don''t you know, she isn''t exactly lying ~ it all depends on who wrote the script for her for that particular event and they are the ones who can''t get it coordinated. You can''t really say it''s lying ~ it''s play acting.
