McCain and Palin Promise to "Break Some China" in Washington

(STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH.) – Trying to wrest the mantra of change away from their opponents, John McCain and Sarah Palin told the crowd here that Barack Obama and Joe Biden aren't strong enough to bring reform to the federal government.

"That's why this ticket is the ticket to shake up Washington, because Sen. Obama doesn't have the strength to do it," McCain said. "He has never bucked his party on any issue – never. If you want real reform, if you want real change, send the one's who've actually done it. Send the team of mavericks who aren't afraid to go to Washington and break some china."

Palin pointed towards her tenure of just under two years as the governor of Alaska to show the kind of changes she says she'll bring to Washington.

"True reform really is tough to achieve, but in short order, we put the government of our state back on the side of the people," she said.

"I came to office promising major ethics reform to end the culture of self-dealing, and today that ethics reform is the law and that's what we're going to bring to Washington."

on the first place they should battle Sen.McCain, who was building Washington establishment for 26 years - one and only hard job he was doing that time. Even twice longer than President Bush.
And may continue to battle with Gov.Palin, who is the best shown example of Government spending, spending in the highest level in the smallest state.
When this job would be done - they may start Campaign for the White House, if succeeded.

I do not see any sense battling Washington, starting from Obama.
Seems, Great McWar Experience did not teach him strategy and he is repeating same mistake - Fighting Al Quada in Iraq, where it even has not been presented or connected or hidden.
Same as fishing on Mars.

If you want continued higher unemployment and weakening salaries and low job security. Vote as the Republicans ask for personalities. This is the clear model of the Bush Administration. If secret, divisive, attack only politics are what you want the Republicans and Gov Palin are your cup of tea. Otherwise vote for real bi-partisan government and anyone except the Republicans.; Reply to this comment

Was this not the same man whose campaign was dominated by the big corporations lobbying groups? From where then shall the changes come from? Point is he can say all he wishes BUT we know he''s nothing but a war monger. How come he never has any other replies to America4s pressing issues? Why are all his replies to serious questions all about WAR, FIGHT, WAR and even more WAR. What happens to peace? *** How can you support Amnesty Mccain? Do you not realize that he supports amnesty for over 20 million illegal immigrants?? Therefore McCain/Palin are ready now, and Bush/Cheney ought to resign today to let McCain/Palin finish the Bush/Cheney second term as a running start to their own two elected terms (the max).
