Palin, Now Out on the Road, Continues Bashing Obama

(CEDARBURG, WISC.) – Sarah Palin picked up right where she left off at the Republican vonvention, attacking Barack Obama on everything from his job as a community organizer to not supporting the surge in Iraq.

"He said it was doomed to fail. But just last night, Sen. Obama finally broke and brought himself to admit what all of us have known for quite some time, and that's that thanks to the skill and valor of our troops, the surge in Iraq has succeeded," Palin said.

"I guess when you turn out to be profoundly wrong on a vital national security issue, maybe it's comforting to pretend that everyone else was wrong, too."

As she introduced John McCain, Palin said the difference between Obama and her running mate was words versus action.

"For a season, a gifted speaker can inspire with his words," she said. "For a lifetime, John McCain has inspired with his deeds."

Thanking the woman he called "the most marvelous running mate in the history of this nation", McCain was tasked with giving the policy part of the platform today.

"Here's a little straight talk, these are tough times. The jobs report today is a reminder," he said, referring to the report today that the American economy has lost over half a million jobs this year. "All you've ever asked of government is to stand on your side and stay out of your way, and that's what I intend to do."

Obama responded by accusing McCain of continuing economic policies of President Bush.

"John McCain may believe that the fundamentals of our economy are 'strong,' but the working men and women I meet every day are working harder for less," Obama said. "John McCain's answer is more of the same: $200 billion in tax cuts to big corporations and oil companies, and not one dime of tax relief to more than 100 million middle-class families."

Chicago politics is not for the innocent I live here and I know. He is a poweful speaker with great potential as a future president of our country but not now at this time for our country. I''m in McCains''s corner right now and look forward to seeing him go to Washington with Palin and watching the chaos that will ensue as they call out both parties. This I think in its self is good enough reason to elect McCain let alone we all know that he has a record of butting heads with both sides. They talk about change..hmmmm...Democrats have had control of Congress & Senate for 18 months and have the lowest record in history for DOING NOTHING. Obama infact said the surge would bring down violence as did most DEMs, but that it would also "create an underlying problem...we have reduced the violence. But the Iraqis have still not taken responsibility. It was the most boring speech of all time. Palin the hockey mom will soon melt like the ice in the skating rink. John McCain has found someone that he can slap around. They hand her a script and she reads it word for word. They even had to write some words phonetically because she didn''t know how to pronounce them. They have even kept her from talking to the media untl she is able to cram for an interview. This woman is being shoved down our throats and we shouldn''t take it. A lying husband with a long history of infidelities (check Wikipedia) and a mother who failed miserably in raising her teenage daughter.

Millions of individual voters have contributed to his campaign. It would take a hundred years of every vote in Alaska for Palin to rack up that kind of record. Who is this lightweight Palin to cast stones at Obama?? We are just learning like McCain who she really is. She is a creationist, anti-environment, denier of global warming, extremist evangelical who fired a city librarian for resisting censorship. She is a double-talker who fought for huge earmarks for her tiny town. She appointed a man convicted of sexual harassment to be in charge of Public Security.
