John McCain Announces His...New Ice Cream Flavor

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:
ABOARD THE STRAIGHT TALK EXPRESS – It's not "Romney Road" or "Butter Pawlenty" – for those looking for running mate clues – but instead "Straight Talk Crunch." That's the latest flavor from Baskin-Robbins, who will also release "Whirl of Change" for Barack Obama.
McCain's staff handed out samples of the concoction on the plane today, which consists of vanilla ice cream, caramel, white chocolate, and almonds. "It's delicious," said McCain after tasting it, according to press secretary Brooke Buchanan, who was closely monitoring the situation.

Most members of the press corps found it delicious also, in a completely non-partisan fashion, but most members of the press corps find just about anything delicious after being stuck on a plane for five hours.
Baskin-Robbins will officially release the flavors September 3rd. They'll also be keeping track of how much they sell, to see if the presidential election can be determined by the ice cream buying public.
