Any VP News? "Not Tonight," Says Bayh
From CBS News' Michelle Levi:
(WASHINGTON) - Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., a rumored frontrunner on Barack Obama's short list of possible running mates said "not tonight" when asked by reporters if there was anything new to announce.
Bayh and his wife were quizzed by waiting reporters as they left their Washington, D.C. home dressed to play tennis.
Bayh, who's also a former governor of Indiana and was a Hillary Clinton supporter during the primaries, has been widely mentioned as a shortlister along with Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., and Gov. Tim Kaine, D-Va.
