From CBS News' Ryan Corsaro:

(BIRMINGHAM, MICH.) - Cindy McCain visited a hospital today for an examination after an event with her husband in Michigan.

According to McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker, "At some point during the rope line an enthusiastic supporter shook Mrs. McCain's hand and exacerbated an existing carpal tunnel condition for which she has had previous surgeries. Out of an abundance of caution, she decided to leave the event and visit the local hospital for x-rays where she was treated for a minor sprain."

"She has a minor sprain," McCain said. "Now she looks a lot better and won't have to shake so many hands."

"We appreciate everyone's concern and she is back on the campaign trail now," Hazelbaker added in a statement.

That%u2019s too bad that Cindy McCain got injured, I hope she recovers real soon. But, since she Cindy McCain is hurt does this mean that John (the warmonger) McCain will cast her aside just like he did his first wife Carol?

Clearly, America has a dirty mind.

I have to admit, the same set of jokes popped into my head too.

It''s nice that Cindy can go to the hospital. If someone in my family had a minor hand injury, we would have to consider "sucking it up" and living with it. We are on an "individual plan", as are most small business owners. That means Blue Cross can cut us off any time they decide we have been "too costly". So forget seeing a doctor unless it is very serious. We are just one letter away from losing our insurance simply because we might use it.

It must be wonderful to have all of that money. Cindy spends $75,000 a month on her credit cards for "goodies" I''m sure a little insurance (or simply self-pay) is not an issue for the McCain''s. No wonder McCain has no plan for the 47 million uninsured U.S. Citizens and the millions MORE like my family who are at the mercy of the medical insurance companies.

McCain: A rich President for the Rich. The rest can just suck it.

Did she trip over John''s $520 Farragamo loafers and fall? Did she wonder where she might get medical attention, and whether the fees would mean her family would do without other necessities as a result? The McCain;s are SO elitist, and so out of touch with America. John McCain has NEVER had to pay for his own health care, nor his own education.

After her trip to the hospital, Cindy returned to the campaign wearing a sling and said "I feel great!"

Anybody else wonder whether or not this "injury" was simply a ruse in order to get doped up?
