Hillary to Fundraise with Obama, But Where is Bill?

(ST. LOUIS) Just two weeks after Hillary Clinton threw her support to Barack Obama in Unity, New Hampshire, she will join him at two high-dollar fundraisers in New York City.

Next Wednesday and Thursday, Clinton and Obama will attend two fund-raisers for his general election campaign and for the Democratic National Committee. They are also expected to appear together at a fundraiser with her supporters, as she tries to pay down her approximately $10 million debt accumulated during the primaries. Obama told reporters today he is committed to helping his former opponent.

"As I've said before, I want to make sure that we're providing Senator Clinton with some help just as she is going out of her way to campaign on our behalf."

The Obama campaign is tapping into Clinton's roster of wealthy donors as he tries to raise more than $200 million for the general election. Obama joined Clinton at a fundraiser in Washington D.C. the day before their rally in Unity, and met with her donors in an effort to sway them to support him. Clinton is also expected to hit the campaign trail for soon; however it is likely that she will be campaigning for Obama solo.

The bigger mystery that remains is Bill Clinton, who announced his support for Obama through a spokesman. Obama spoke to the former President on Monday, but he said today the two are still figuring out a time to meet.

"President Clinton and I are still coordinating a time when we're going to get together face to face and have a good discussion," Obama told reporters. "But as I said before the phone conversation was extensive and very positive and I'm looking forward to his advice and counsel and participation in the race ahead."

UPDATE: The Obama camapaign offically confirms that former President Clinton will not join his wife and Obama at the New York fund-raisers next week.

Unfortunately as we say here in the south, that dog don''t hunt anymore. The blacks have taken that mantle for themselves. Afterall, over 90%of blacks support and voted for hussein obama, along with apprx. 30% of whites. It is hard to believe there are that many marxist/socialist ideological leaning blacks in America. If not, then one would have to conclude that the blacks voted for hussein obama strictl because of race. Which one do you choose?"

Funny, how most still do not get it. Their are at least a 1/3 if not 1/2 of Hilliary''s supporters that will never vote for hussein obama. Up to 9 million voters that the DNC has lost. Just think of all those democrats that did not vote in the primary? Just think, based on the 2004 election there was approx. 62 million democrats that voted. Come the General Election 30-50% of that 62 million could vote for McCain or other. Add in the 62 million Republcans that will probably vote for MCCain and on has the makings of a landslide.

Since when do democrats support a candidate who has spent the last 20 years participating in a racist church....a church that promotes hatred towards America. We''re supposed to be fighting against racism....not participating in it for 20 years!

We are not going to vote for Obama no way no how, we will vote for Mccain, Nader, or stay home before we give this fraud our vote. We are not listening to Hillary''s unity speech, because true Hillary supporters are not stupid, we know that she''s being pressured to endorse this Obama or risk being politically black balled by the gender-biased media, some Congress members and the DNC leadership.

We cant afford an inexperienced president who promised the public one thing during the primaries and totally different ideas during the general election. Obama has become another flip flopper that America can not afford! This is from a 55 year old democrat. WE NEED CLINTONS.

The CLintons lost, and if you want to see flip flops and lies just look at Hillarys whole campagn and how she ran it. That women has no soul.

I do admit its not as fun with the Clintons gone. I miss the dailly soap opera of Bill and Billary''s adventures. Who Bill is cheating on her with, who she is lying to. Or how many times she cried in any given week. I miss all of those stories.
