Obama Camp: McCain Has "Dangerous" Approach On Terrorism

WASHINGTON — Barack Obama's campaign continued to defend the Illinois senator's position on terrorism today, accusing John McCain and his advisers of making "dishonest distortions" of Obama's policies.

Senior foreign policy adviser Susan Rice called McCain's approach to terrorism "dangerous" and "self-defeating" and said the debate is "an effort to divert attention from our dismal economy."

Top Obama advisers hosted a conference call to respond to comments made by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and McCain adviser Randy Scheunemann earlier today, in which Giuliani accused Obama of dealing with terrorism in a "defensive manner" rather than in realistic terms.

Rice fired back at these claims, accusing the Republicans of not wanting to discuss issues, which she says have made the country less safe.

"They don't want to talk about the fact that we had bin Laden and a number of his lieutenants captured in close range nearly defeated in Tora Bora and then escaped," Rice said, "They don't want to talk about the fact that we diverted our effort and energy and resources from Afghanistan to Iraq."

Later today, Obama will hold his first meeting with his Senior Working Group on National Security. Participants include many former Clinton Administration officials, including Madeleine Albright, Warren Christopher, and Eric Holder.

They don''t want to defend Black Liberation theology.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that lies about his relationship with Tony Rezko, the Syrian Criminal that sold his property to Obama and supported his campaign.

They don''t want a candidate that could work with a domestic terrorist, William Ayers.

They don%u2019t'' want a candidate that didn''t stand up for the voters of Michigan and Florida.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that Hamas supports.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam support

They don%u2019t want a candidate that has a wife that has just now realized she was proud of our country.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that denies Florida and Michigan their voices

They don%u2019t want a candidate that mentions 57 states in his speeches. 50 states in the USA and 57 states in the Nation of Islam (IOC website)

*** What was Clinton suppose to arrest bin laden for? hating america? That isn''t a crime the last time I checked. You have to PROVE he was part of the bombings of the embassy buildings, not just happened to hate America. Bin Laden family and Bush family are VERY good friend. Please keep that in mind. There are actually things to prove that their families are great friends. You can NOT prove bin laden had anything to do with those bombings! Bush knows exactly where bin laden is and is protecting him. You really think that we couldn''t get bin laden if we wanted to? with the technology we have today??? Hon. Senator McCain and Obama, besides each having many attributes and characteristics. The critical differences between the two of these presidential presumptive nominees are as under:

1. Presidential "Temperament and Composer".
2. Little Washington "insider Versus outsider" experience.
3. "Vision and mission" for our nation future rather than past.
4. American policies, " first U.S.A Centric" than any other country [ ies ] centric.

In my professional opinion Senator Obama leads in all above qualities.

Senator Obama and his administration along with congress will address all the critical current and future domestic and foreign issues, challenges, and opportunities in coming years.

Let us remember and recite following concepts:
