Obama Kicks Off Second Week Of Economy Tour

(CBS)

From CBS News' Maria Gavrilovic:

(CHICAGO) Barack Obama kicks off the second week of his economy tour today, with two stops in Michigan. Today will mark Obama's third trip to the state since launching his general election campaign just a few weeks ago. He did not campaign in Michigan during the primaries.

Obama's speech today will focus on the economy and global competitiveness. According to the campaign, he will unveil plans to improve the education system, reduce dependency on foreign oil, and pursue fairer trade policies. Although he will not unveil new policy today, his speech is intended to summarize his long term plans for the economy.

The speech on competitiveness will take place at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan, a city that has been deeply affected by the economic downturn. According to a Detroit Free Press, article previewing today's visit, the number of auto workers in Flint fell from 79,000 in 1976 to 12,000 today. Obama has focused on similar communities in the past week, as he continues to court middle class voters by emphasizing his plans to overhaul the economy.

The RNC has already issued a statement ahead of Obama's speech, as they continue to paint him as a "tax and spend" liberal. RNC spokesman, Alex Conant, said, "Barack Obama is wrong: Raising taxes on small businesses and limiting free trade will make America less competitive – not more competitive. Obama can slap whatever label he wants on his tax-and-spend agenda, but it won't create new jobs or promote prosperity."

What is irrational is attempting to sustain the same actions with the expectations of obtaining a different result.

McSane Presidency will definitely result in what we%u2019ve already have experienced with the last 8-12 years of Conservatism.

Obama is delusional. Amazing people feel that he will bring the right kind of change. In spite of Bush being unpopular, irrational people do not understand that change can be very, very bad with an unqualified, inexperianced, leader, which Obama is.

Dear American Voters,

Hon. Senator McCain and Obama, besides each having many attributes and characteristics. The critical differences between the two of these presidential presumptive nominees are as under:

1. Presidential "Temperament and Composer".
2. Little Washington "insider Versus outsider" experience.
3. "Vision and mission" for our nation future rather than past.
4. American policies, " first U.S.A Centric" than any other country [ ies ] centric.

In my professional opinion Senator Obama leads in all above qualities.

The need of our next movement and generation is a change. The Change in " past Washington and its Leadership". A change we can believe in and not the seductive, deceptive, and confusing slogan of "leader we can believe in" [? Effexor ?".

Our Greatgrand Nation has to address many present and future challenges and start with new clean "Slate and Senator".

God Bless America. its diverse people, and our Greatgrand Nation.

Our Greatgrand Nation is needs the CHANGE at every level and for long time.

I am sure Senator Obama with the help of Senator Clinton and her supporters, can deliver that CHANGE.

Please stay involved, stay engaged, and stay informed. Please do not allow any seduction, deception, and or confusion by some partisan media and leaders effect your vote [ Psychological Terrorism ]..

Yours truly,
