Clinton Campaigns Pueblo-style, Kicks Off Caravan Through Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO -- Hillary Clinton once again ditched her well tailored pantsuits for a lavender blouse and white pants as she and her campaign gear up for a full day of caravanning around the San Juan area. "I am dressed for our caravan which starts right after this visit," she said. "I will have a new experience in a few hours, of being part of the Puerto Rican political tradition of caravanning and I thank all of you for allowing me to participate in that." The full day of caravanning will encompass a mixture of car rides, walks through towns and speeches. This form of campaigning, according to a Clinton staffer, is very typical in Puerto Rico. Clinton will be on the back of a flat bed truck, waiving and speaking to small crowds along the way.

Early this morning Clinton spoke to a crowd at a local hospital where she focused on Puerto Rican healthcare issues, including taking a stand on providing universal health care coverage for all American citizens regardless of political status, since Puerto Rico is not a state but a U.S. territory.

During her remarks, Clinton again reinforced the fact that as a senator from New York she represents over one million Puerto Ricans. "Campaigning in Puerto Rico is like one long Puerto Rican Day Parade, it is incredibly energizing," she said, drawing laughter from the crowd.

While Clinton campaigns in the tropical weather of Puerto Rico, thousands of miles away in Washington the Democratic National Committee's Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting to decide the fate of the disputed delegates of Florida and Michigan. The committee is expected to issue a decision later this evening.

The clintons do not have enought pledged delegates to go back to the WH. Furthermore, it does not matter what PR does since they have no voting rights in the GE. So quit dreaming and open your eyes to REALITY. The clintons LOST this primary - period!; Reply to this comment
