Too Much Sun for Obama?

(CBS)

From CBS News' Maria Gavrilovic:

SUNRISE, FLA. – Perhaps all the sunshine here in the Sunshine State is getting to Barack Obama. On his third day of campaigning in the state, Obama notably flubbed the name of the city where his campaign rally was taking place. "I am so glad to be in Florida, and I am so glad to be in Sunshine," Obama said at the top of his remarks. Unfortunately, the name of the city is "Sunrise."

At four different points during the speech, Obama referred to the town as "Sunshine," as opposed to "Sunrise." Amazingly, the crowd of 16,000 played along and no one corrected him. Sunrise is a city in Broward County, possibly best known for its role in 2000 presidential election.

Obama said he regrets not having campaigned in Florida, and said he will make up for "some lost time." He also assured the voters that Florida delegates will be seated at the Democratic Convention in August. "They will be participating, your voices will be heard and most importantly we will work together to make sure that Florida goes Democrat in November and so does the rest of the country," Obama said.

Agog2, I am not racist, is Michelle LaVaughn Robinson/aka Michelle Obama? Read her senior thesis at Princeton revealing her militant racism. I have no problem voting for a Black person with integrity and humanitarian views, however BO has neither. I admire many Blacks in the legislature, McKinney, Norton, Johnson, Brown all women and Conyers. As Michele Malkin said %u2018HYPE WE CAN BELIEVE IN%u2019, that is the essence of BO.

Obama was at the Sheraton in Maitland FL. He was greeted with a crowd of people with signs protesting against his stand on not counting the votes in the Florida Primary. Obama arrived in a shiny black bus and was quickly escorted inside the Sheraton where supporters who were segregated by the size of their contribution paying $250. to $10,000 waited. In an online video he excused himself from those making small contributions to go to speak to the big spenders! Is this how he will unite the party? Sorry I want equal rights I will vote for Clinton or no one. I demand my Florida vote will be counted.

If anyone knows about how important it is to keep our troops out of harm way and bring them home to their families Its John McCain. Come on Obama was not even a cub scout. I don%u2019t know if he was a girl scout. But he was never in any branch of the U.S military. How in the he!! Can anyone ever think he could be commander in chief of our great troops? He!! That would be the same as putting a 10 year old boy on a professional FNL football team as Quarterback. Obama is nothing but a big mouth that has a good team of speech writers working and writing for him. In real life this guy is nothing but a Jerk off. McCain is a true blue American Hero.

HILLART HILLARY HILLARY
YES WE WILL.

COUNT ALL THE VOTES AS CAST...

I WAS THERE!!!

I''ve been reading about this all day and have to comment! I was at the rally yesterday, standing front and center on the floor right in front of the podium. I assure you, ON ONE present was offended by Obama''s one faux pas! Although we waited for hours to see him, NO ONE complained, and his speech was well worth the wait.

The place was packed (nearly 20,000 people), and the crowded was thrilled to finally hear Obama speak in FL. When he said "Sunshine" very few people noticed, and of those who did, they assumed he was referring to FL as the "Sunshine State." I took a few photos of the event. Feel free to click below to view. Does anyone look offended? No! Thrilled would be the appropriate description!

The only thing that Obama has going for him is that he has good speech writers working for him. In real life he is so dumb that he would bring a knife to a gun fight. If he is the Democrats nominee for president he will suffer the worst presidential defeat in the history of this country.

From CNN to the New York Times, the media hyped Barack Obama''s Portland, Oregon rally on Sunday, some comparing him to a rock star.

Unmentioned in national reporting was the fact that Obama was preceded by a rare, 45-minute free concert by actual rock stars The Decemberists. The Portland-based band has drawn rave reviews from Rolling Stone magazine, which gave their 2005 album Picaresque four and a half stars (out of five), and another four and a half stars for 2007''s The Crane Wife.
