Pickup Trucks, Bingo, and Mellencamp: A Day of Campaign Props for Clinton

(CBS)
From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:
RALEIGH, N.C. -- With just three days left before the May 6th primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, Hillary Clinton fills her day with a variety of campaign props, including: delivering a speech standing on the back of a '57 Chevy pickup truck, another speech standing before NASCAR vehicles, participating in a bingo game at a local Knights of Columbus weekly meeting, and a rally with President Clinton, daughter Chelsea and John Cougar Mellencamp.
The detailed internal schedule was given to reporters this morning which shows all of the ins-and-outs of Clinton's busy campaign day including crowd estimates, guest appearances and visual set up of each event.
For example, each event is given a rough time frame, in today's case about 45 minutes per stop. It also gives great detail about the visual setup of the events like what the stage will look like, for example. In the first event, not sponsored by the campaign, the schedule describes the set as similar to ABC's "The View" with three hosts and Clinton on stage sitting "behind a kitchen counter" with "22 moms on stage" behind them according to the schedule. There's even a note about the facilities available at a certain event.
The schedule was, no doubt, accidentally delivered to the rooms of reporters, and it not only offered more color and greater detail of the day-to-day operations in running a presidential campaign, but also offered a glimpse at the intense grind that encompasses the lives of presidential candidates on a daily basis.
