WASHINGTON -- On the day after the reunited on the Senate floor, Hillary Clinton is on Barack Obama's tail - literally.

In addition to trailing just behind Obama in the overall delegate count, this morning both Obama and Clinton's planes were parked one behind the other as they prepared to take off at Dulles International Airport.

Reporters from both campaigns got the chance outside to shake and hands and exchange greetings -- a rare criss-crossing of camps usually reserved for debate filing rooms or primary night hotel lobbies. Both Clinton and Obama reporters dropped their bags together for screening by the same bomb-sniffing dog before separating and retiring to their planes.

Aboard Clinton's 737, stickers coat the walls, along with notes posted in duct tape, one of which reads "DON'T CALL ME AT 3AM."

Ice chests are filled with carbonated beverages and the flight attendents make the travel seem like one is headed for a Club Med vacation, despite the rigors of rallies, deadlines and network live shots waiting upon touch down.

On Obama's plane, the interior looks like a gallery with Polaroids taped up of memories from the trail, including shots of a photographer who was crammed inside an overhead luggage compartment and served a mimosa.

While there might be moments of fun while traveling, it's still serious business for the candidates, who use time on the plane to go over strategy, prepare for an upcoming speech, or take that all important catnap before the next event.

For Clinton, today she holds events in Pittsburgh, where she will be endorsed by the mayor, Luke Ravenstahl. Obama returns to Chicago today -- no events scheduled.

Not only that he''s a lier also he thinks his preacher [if you can call him that] I don''t, is so great. So he must be a white hater too. Barack Obama: On My Faith and My Church

The pastor of my church, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who recently preached his last sermon and is in the process of retiring, has touched off a firestorm over the last few days. He''''s drawn attention as the result of some inflammatory and appalling remarks he made about our country, our politics, and my political opponents.

Let me say at the outset that I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy. I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it''''s on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue.

Because these particular statements by Rev. Wright are so contrary to my own life and beliefs, a number of people have legitimately raised questions about the nature of my relationship with Rev. Wright and my membership in the church. Let me therefore provide some context.; Reply to this comment

McCain will continue Bush''s policies for another 4 years if he is elected. It is time for new leadership. by westafer2 March 14, 2008 4:57 PM EDT: Perhaps the most widespread misconception about Barack Obama that has been forcefully expounded by both Hillary Clinton and John McCain is that because he is younger than both of them he therefore must be too inexperienced to be president.
Senator John McCain is 71 years old, Senator Hillary Clinton is age 60 and Senator Barak Obama is 46 years of age. But America has had both younger and older individuals who have served with great distinction as president such as Theodore Roosevelt who became president at age 42, John Kennedy who assumed the presidency at age 43, and Ronald Regan who was sworn in as the Commander in Chief on January 20, 1981 at age 69.
Bill Clinton became president at age 46 after having served 12 years as the governor of Arkansas, but without having had any experience whatsoever in Washington. Before Abraham Lincoln took the oath of office in 1860 to become our 16th president he had previously served 8 years as an Illinois state legislator and 4 years in the U.S. Congress, which incidentally just happens to have been precisely Barack Obama%u2019s experience. If Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States on January 20, 2009 he will have served 12 years as an elected legislator which include 8 years as an Illinois State Senator and 4 years as a U.S. Senator and he will be 47 years old.; Reply to this comment
