In Cincinnati, Clinton Goes Back to her Roots

From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:

CINCINNATI -- Sitting at a table with voters concerned about the state of the economy and with a painting of the city of Cincinnati as a backdrop, Clinton said "I am a candidate of, from and for the middle class of America," adding "that is a great summation of my campaign."

Clinton was hosting what the campaign calls an "economic roundtable" at the Skyline Chili restaurant here. Clinton listened to stories from voters who spoke about home foreclosures to problems with manufacturing jobs going overseas to a woman who lost her son when he was struck by an SUV. But as Clinton listened to their stories and shared some of her policies she still found moments to inject her jabs at Barack Obama. "This primary offers a very big choice," said Clinton.

"You can choose speeches or solutions. You can choose talk or action," she added using her new line of attack she recently unveiled.

Clinton has been using this line over the past few days in an attempt to emphasize the fact that voters are now choosing a president. The campaign hopes that voters will see her as the candidate with more experience.

But as Clinton throws elbows at Obama in her speeches she keeps the focus on the economy. Hoping to relate to middle class Americans, the former First Lady said what America needs is "a fighter, a doer and champion for the middle class again." Clinton added "I am running to be your president…I don't need to go back to live in the White House."

Polls show Clinton leading in Ohio, but she isn't taking any chances, scheduling several campaign stops today including a visit to Cleveland later today.

Hillary has won me over with her warmth, her compassion and her integrity. She will not lie, she will not pander. The Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush succession has been great for this country. It''s now time for Hillary. After that Jeb Bush, but definitely Chelsea after Jeb. We have so much to look forward to in America. Hillary, for the win! She will unite us!

The smoke filled cigar room of the old establishment puppets are trying to rule this country as the know it alls.

They don''t like Mike Huckabee''s charm, charisma and optimistic attidude. They feel threatened that they will lose control of their power hungry system.

They walk around pretending to care about the ordinary citizen, but in reality only care about their power and money.

Don''t be tricked into thinking they are for you. They have a attitude problem, they think the common ordinary American''s are too stupid and they must control them.

The American people must rally around the charisma of Mike Huckabee. He deeply cares about ordinary Americans.

He wants to "share" his power with you, not "show" his power like the other power hungry establishments want to do.

It''s time to show the establishments that the American people can think for themselves. Let''s rally around Mike Huckabee, a honest trustworthy and humble man.

It is funny. When does running for president of the U.S. become a chance to "live" in the White House? They are running for the presidency, the real prize in this race, not the lodging right. I promise I will not live in the White House if you elect me as the president. I will turn it into a museum for all people to enjoy.

Hillary "of the middle class"? Her family had a heckuva lot more dinero than mine did, and I always thought I was middle class. If the Rodhams were middle class, then I was raised an abject serf!

Funny, how she remembered the Alamo, before she got back to her roots. Listening to comeback advice no doubt; not only that, she can get back to us on what''s she''s done for us these last 35 years. No, that''s some rhetoric that the Democratic, Independent, Republican, Libertarian, Green etc... voters have cared to do without indeed. Adios, or in the native language of the legal American immigrants, sayonara.

Senator Clinton MUST devote time and many resources to the Ohio Primary effort! Being that her family background was in the Upper Midwest, those voters undoubtedly will both understand and appreciate her policies and priorities well! It would be absolutely unreal to me if those Democratic voters ''bought in'' to the Obama ''spin''. If there actually IS an Obama that should be ''contesting'' for the Democratic Party''s nomination, ''that'' Obama should be Michelle Obama, NOT Barrack. A ''showman'' this nation does not need.
