Romney Sizzles For His "Hot" Wife

MOUNT VERNON, IOWA -- Mitt Romney is never shy about talking about how much he loves his wife Ann, but today he was a bit more uninhibited than usual.

"She's a cute girl, I'll tell ya," Romney told the Iowa crowd that was packed into a small coffee house here. "She's hot, too. Wow!"

Romney then appeared to lick his finger and make a sizzle noise, leaving many attendees and members of the media roiling with laughter (and a few others standing silently with their mouths agape).

Governor Romney's antics came after Mrs. Romney introduced him and handed over the microphone. A man standing next to the governor remarked, "She's cuter" and then later added, "That's not saying much."

Governor Romney had to agree. "That's exactly right," he said.

Iowa voters have integrity and honor, they will not stoop that low to be sell their ticket to extremelly wealthy Mitt Romeny.

Iowa voters are looking for a man with integrity, honesty, humbleness and who is trustworthy. Mike Huckabee is the only candidate that is constantly getting those integrity terms applied to him in the media.

Do not under estimate a Iowa voter, they have solid steel integrity and will not be purchased by phony Mitt Romney.; Reply to this comment

Mike motivates me and I am excited to see the great things that he will do for us and our country.
All of the negative attack ads won''''t change Mike''''s proven leadership record. As everyone has seen, Mike Huckabee has surged to number one in the polls. When people hear him speak, they understand why he is the right choice to be the next President of the United States.

God bless Mike. If "we Americans" stick together, our country will move ahead stronger than ever with Mike leading it.

I endorse Mike Huckabee.

by njpaul2-2009 December 31, 2007 2:50 AM EST: Romney & Huckabee have each lead church congregations. Huckabee was paid for his service, Romney was not. Unpaid service to those in need is a regular (and I do mean frequent) part of Romney''s life, and it has been since he was young. Romney has done well in business, but he has also taught his sons to work and serve others and has done a remarkable job of keeping his priorities in proper order.; Reply to this comment


by dlounsbury1 December 31, 2007 2:19 AM EST: Romney''s dad made him earn his money by doing chores around the house as a kid. He did not grow up with a silver spoone. He lived in a middle class neighborhood and raised his family there for years and years. He could have gone big and lived rich years earlier but wanted to keep his kids grounded. Compare that to Huckabee who has made a living preaching people out of their own money. Huckabee''s philosophy as a "prosperity" preacher is that God makes those who tithe rich (ie give HUCKABEE 10% of their income) While Romney has been suspicious of the trappings of wealth, Huckabee has done whatever it takes to get rich-preaching people out of their money, taking 70K worth of furniture from governor''s mansion, paying household expenses with campaign contributions and, after a 20 plus year marriage signed up on a wedding registry to help furnish his home with a housewarming party. The guy is an unabashed social climber who will do anything to get rich. He has done more and Hillary knows--she has dirt on him. She will unleash it on him in the primary if he gets lucky in the primary.; Reply to this comment

by JedMerrill December 31, 2007 1:07 AM EST: Romney has a $50 haircut, with an occassional $200 job thrown in for a debate. There is a podcast that interviews his hair person.

Romney worked hard for his money--hard enough to earn several times what the average hard working American makes in a lifetime. His wealth is a witness of his intelligence. If he can prosper like that, think where he can lead America?

Of course, now that he has the money, instead of trying to make it a cool billion he is giving back, offering to be President of the United States, presumably without pay. (As he did as Governor of Massachusetts and as head of the Olympic committee.)

I am all for Huckabee, as VP. Mitt is the one who I trust to not just run the economy, but make it hum.

America doesnt need a extremelly wealthy person flaunting his fortunes. America needs a man who is out there working hard and gaining respect of the voters like Mike Huckabee is doing.

Mike Huckabee is doing it the old fashion way, working hard, being humble, honest and trustworthy. This is the type of man American needs as President of this great country.; Reply to this comment
