From CBS News' Dante Higgins:

DAVENPORT, IOWA -- Sen. John McCain, who held congressional hearings on steroids in baseball when he was chairman of the Commerce Committee, just reacted to the release of the Mitchell Report, which looked into steroid use in that sport.

"It's now time for Major League players to step forward and accept both meaningful restrictions as well as punishments if any of them are guilty of using these enhancing substances," McCain said about the players listed in the report.

"So it's time now for the players union to step forward and say 'ok, we'll save the game and the reputation of the game and cooperate with meaningful and tough punishment and testing procedures, so we can prevent this from ever happening again.'"

Mitt Romney is the Republican Howard Dean!!! Read all about it!

After the Iowa debate yesterday Mitt Romney stopped in Marion, Iowa to give a speech at Linn-Mar High School. He said the following:

%u201CAnd I%u2019m convinced the world will remember as well because you%u2019re going to do something which people don%u2019t expect, which is give me a victory,%u201D Romney said. %u201CAnd then I%u2019m going to New Hampshire where I%u2019m pretty solidly in the lead in New Hampshire, and I%u2019m gonna be in Nevada, and I%u2019m gonna win Nevada, and I%u2019m gonna be in Wyoming, and I%u2019ll win that one and Michigan. And we%u2019re gonna do pretty *** well%u2014that%u2019s at least what I plan."

.... Yahhh Hip Ha!!!

Everybody is reading all about this now. Mitt Romney is Howard Dean all over again. The media and the Democrats will now play this over and over and over and over.

This is what brought down Howard Dean and now is bringing down Mitt Romney. Republicans don''''t need another Howard Dean.

.... Yahhh Hip Ha!!!

When I find myself trying not to be judgemental is when I find myself laughing with anger, because quite frankly it really irks me what celebreities are allowed to get away with. I guess it is part of the capitalist caste system. When is it going to be politically correct to be truthful? I am not interested in shades of gray, I want the truth. The very athletes and entertainers who say they did not know what they were putting it their bodies whether steroids or alcohol, are the very ones who also benefit from the short memories of society and of course the selective memories of our newspapers. If it were I or some other schlep and we tried to use the assinie excuse we didn''t know as an defense when we were found dirty during a random urinalysis test we would be laughed out of our jobs. I for sure as a teacher would be exorted out of the school through the front doors (o.k. may the back doors).
With prosperity, fame and noteriety come responibility. When one is responsible they acknowledge their errors and own up to them.
