McCain Ready To Pounce On Biden's Testing Comments

John McCain is preparing to take advantage of comments made by Joe Biden over the weekend when he warned donors at a Washington state fundraiser that the world won't wait long to "test" Barack Obama.

"The world is looking," Biden said, according to reports. "We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. … As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he's gonna need help."

In prepared remarks released by the McCain campaign, the Republican nominee will use those comments in his rally this afternoon in Belton, Missouri. "The next President won't have time to get used to the office," McCain will say according to the prepared remarks. "We face many challenges here at home, and many enemies abroad in this dangerous world. Just last night, Senator Biden guaranteed that if Senator Obama is elected, we will have an international crisis to test America's new President. We don't want a President who invites testing from the world at a time when our economy is in crisis and Americans are already fighting in two wars. What is more troubling is that Senator Biden told their campaign donors that when that crisis hits, they would have to stand with them because it wouldn't be apparent Senator Obama would have the right response. Forget apparent. Senator Obama won't have the right response, and we know that because we've seen the wrong response from him over and over during this campaign."

They are sitting back and waiting and with no experience Obama is their man in office. The last attack they planned on us was planned while the President was under the desk doing his intern and putting stains on her blue dress. As far as all you people worry about Sarah Palin you have got to be kidding. Mrs. Palin ran a State and Government! Obama is a Community Leader. Mr. McCain has about the same chance of dying with a 92 year old mom then Obama has of dying of a heart attack or one of the death treats his camp keeps getting. Please lets not say one might die over another. None of us know when our number is up! Stop your worries about Palin in office should McCain die she would be a better leader then Obama and think about if Obama died...Oh Lord, Biden as VP.....the slip of the tongue man who needs anger management classes. Mr. Bush has damaged the USA international reputation so badly, that these other leaders are rooting for the one who could move these relations back to more cordial terms. Mr. McCain is expereienced (much more than the others) but I''m sorry, call me an ageist, but that Palin woman is nowhere near qualified as far as intellect to be near the oval office. Given, Mr. McCain''s age--I can''t bring myself to chance it. Oddly enough, I have not seen a liberal media (IMHO). What I have seen is an overly conservative one provided by Fox News! Look, I''m one of the ones that the attack dog method did not work for. I wanted to hear more of the issues instead of the attacking. Obama will be tested and for sure
there will be an international crisis.
Without any experience , this is not the time for on the job training.
Each voter has to do their own homework as the Democratic campagin has been littered with lies. McCain didn''t vote 19 times not to raise the minimum wage.
Check the facts, the experience,
and do not be part of the herd
that follows the media bias which
has been the worst since i have
ever seen. Is it because Obama
is black that the media is afraid

It is not about winning but about electing someone who will do well to repair our country. Hey, I like Bush (still do and voted for him twice)but on his watch this country has developed some very serious problems of which McCain has yet to really address. Let''s see, I have heard more about Ayers, Wright, Voter Fraud, Socialism than I have heard about McCain''s plans of governing. He is now reduced to defending his campaign tactics, his health, and "that" incompetant woman! Now, if you believe that Obama will be tested in 6 months (I do believe that''s a possibility) then you have to believe that there is a real possibility that Mr. McCain can die in office (although I hope he lives to be 96) and that woman would become our president. This is absolutely frightening and has casued my hair to gray! I STILL cannot get the rationale of this choice (he should have chosen Romney or even Leiberman) This woman and her intellect could have us in another war in no time!; Reply to this comment

No sooner are my spirits lifted by Colin Powell, along comes Joe Biden telling us Obama supporters that we need to "gird our loins" and stand behind Obama for the first six months of his presidency because he will be tested. Worse, the collective "we" (Obama supporters? Acorn?) will appear to be in the wrong.

I''m sorry, but I have a wife and family of small chilren I care about. I was all for Obama, but when Joe Biden is that frightening and reckless as a VP nominee, the choice for a new commander-in-chief becomes remarkably easy for this former Obama supporter!; Reply to this comment

With him on the ticket, chosen by Obama, it is now confirmed that I don''t know what to expect and question the judgment of each of them so my vote goes to McCain & Palin.
