Obama Ad: Palin Pick Doesn't Mean Change For McCain

Barack Obama's campaign is up with a new ad today on John McCain's selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate, claiming that this surprise choice doesn't make McCain an agent of change.

"Well, he's made his choice," the ad begins. "But, for the rest of us, there's still no change. McCain doesn't get it, calling this broken economy 'strong' … wants to keep spending ten-billion-a-month in Iraq … and votes with George Bush ninety-percent of the time. So, while this may be his running-mate [picture of McCain and Palin] … America knows this is John McCain's agenda [picture of McCain and President Bush]. And we can't afford four more years of the same." Watch it:

McCain has hired the very type of person as VP, that he fought against in his early political career. Indeed, he fought against her own Bridge To Nowhere project.

She''s a governor, he''s a senator! He wants to be president with little experience, she was chosen to run for vice-president with experience in running a state! A few women might vote for her just because she is a woman, but a lot of blacks are voting for B.O. because he is half black!

McCain is about change.
Obama loves to talk and talk and talk and talk about change. Wanting to change politics as usual he picks a running mate who has been there almost as long as I have been on this earth. Obama wants to play it safe (politics as usual). McCain however takes action, and has chosen someone who has successfully taken on the establishment. Why do you think Kerry and his pals complain that she does not have their kind of experience to lead the country. If she is elected along with McCain, they could might be out of a job.

Words or action, that is our choice.

Biden not only makes disparaging remarks about "shiny" Blacks, or having to be "Indian" if you go to 7/11, but he is, despite his claims to be "Zionist" (funny, especially associating with a guy who hangs with the likes of Uncle Jerry and Zbig), is a bit of an anti-Semite too.

Where was the media when Biden made his RACIST remarks? They sure were all over Allen when he made that "macaca" remark about the moveon.org heckler.

Seems a double standard here, folks. Biden''s a bigot ala Jimmy Carter - but he does fit in with the Klan-loving, Lincoln dissing, Racial Hypocrite Obama.

If, as one poster infers, should Clinton woman supporters go to McCain merely because he selected as his running mate a woman, I''d like to remind folks that this is no different than the majority of shallow blacks voting for half black Obama merely because of his "race". I think Palin balances out nicely the Republican ticket, just like the Biden addition balances out the Democratic ticket. The Repubs have experience (McCain) with minimal experience (Palin), while the Dems have minimal experience (Obama) with experience (Biden). From a voter standpoint, where people vote based on the presidential candidate, the Repubs have a better chance than do the Dems.
