CBS News' Joy Lin reports:

(NEW YORK) As rumors swirl about John McCain's VP pick, there are reports out that former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee may be in the mix, despite his statements to the contrary. Asked about his whereabouts, Mike Huckabee told CBS News: "Same place tonight and tomorrow. In Arkansas. What's funny is that networks are reporting that I'm 'on my way to Dayton.' None of them bothered to ask me."

I can''t imagine whom McCain could pick that wouldn''t be laughably deflating after watching last night''s speech. I can''t think of who could possibly give McCain a shot of viagra, at this point. I think because so many people don''t know Lieberman the way we do, he might get some points for the "bipartisanship" of choosing the only other pol (including Bush) who wants to step on the accelerator on the foreign policy of Bush''s first term.

chucky, a baptist preacher, is so incredibly jealous of romney, a mormon, that he cant see past his nose. what an idiot. what a prime example of how christians can be. this shows that he is not presidential material if he cant control his personal feelings. it also shows that he is an idiot.

I hope people wake up soon, Obama has pulled some wool over peoples eyes, He is a politician, His lips are moving, thus he is lying at about the same rate as McCain has supported Bush. Can we have another candidate please.

how can someone put huckabee and obama in the same sentence.

huckabee is a devoted republican christian against abortion from conception.

obama is a christian of convenience, only joining Rev. Wrong''s church when he found that it would politically expediant.

huckabee is a believer in our 1st admendment right to bear arms while obama pushes for extreme gun controls against that right.

these are two very different candidates and two very different stances.

anyone who would have had an internal battle with these two should be classified as schizophrenic.

I am glad! Gov. Huckabee was the only GOP candidate that deserves admiration. He and his family won''t go thru the embarrassment the GOP will go thru on this election. We''ll see in 2012...

I supported Huckabee and Obama in the primaries, and am happy to be able to vote for one of them on Nov. 4

America has no greater public servant than Mike Huckabee. He was the victim of a conspiracy of silence by a media that serves elite corporate interests. The American people will not forget. Huckabee''s time will come.
