Obama Camp: Supporters Will Be "First To Know" Veep Choice

The Obama campaign wants you to know that if you sign up to receive an email or a text message from the campaign, you'll be "the first to know" who will be joining Obama on the Democratic ticket. Really! They promise!

The campaign today sent its second email on the topic to supporters, and it opens with a sign that people didn't take the first message too seriously.

"People keep asking me if we're really going to announce Barack's VP directly to our supporters," campaign manager David Plouffe writes. "The answer is yes. Let me be very clear. You are the ones who built this campaign, and Barack wants you to be the first to know who will join him in leading our movement for change."

OMG Too Cute!!! Text message! Will Barack text it himself? He better start texting about the http://www.BOP-O-METER.com. He is leading, perhaps, in the wrong way on that poll.

The Democratic Convention

Tuesday, Hillary will talk about 88th anniversary of the women''s right to vote

Thursday, Barrack Obama will give his acceptance speech on the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King''s "I Have a Dream" speech.

Wednesday the Vice president candidate will speak.
To follow the theme and logical direction of the convention:

Kathleen Sebelius will give a speech about the 45th anniversary next year of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and how women benefit from that act. (It opened up work places and occupations to many women)

L. Douglas Wilder or Deval Patrick would suffice.
