Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton's mother, is upset with John McCain's campaign for its use of her daughter in a campaign commercial.

The Huffington Post is featuring a blog post from Hilton in which she calls the McCain campaign's "Celeb" ad, in which Paris Hilton is fleetingly linked as a celebrity to Barack Obama, "a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs."

"And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States," she writes.

Kathy Hilton and her husband have donated $4,600 to McCain's campaign. She called the spot "a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign."

The ad in question:

The Republicans will waste the time of Americans during this election because they don%u2019t want to talk about the results of their actions and policy.

Perpetual War, Mismanaging of Federal Treasury Funds, and Fear Mongering.
Increased Governmental $pending while cutting Taxes to the Wealthy.
Unfair Taxation of the Middle Class.
High prices for GASOLINE, Electricity, and Everything Else!
High Medical Costs and Prescription Drugs.
Pollution.
Invasion of Privacy, and disregard for our Constitution.
Corruption, Corruption, Corruption.
Religious Hypocrisy and Abuse of Tax Laws.
Politicalization of the Justice Department.
Degradation of our Infrastructure.
Continued export of American Jobs to overseas Slave Labor.
Decline in US stature and respect of the World Community.

Yeah America, VOTE FOR MORE OF THIS!

I noticed that you never disputed the facts, only that you start name-calling.

Typical Lib when backed into a corner.

We can all thank Karl Rove for this slandering type of campaign ad. The sad thing is, it works for many of our population. Election years are only becoming more soap-opera like in the campaign and people are eating it up. Look at all the trash magazines we have to choose from, and the garbage TV shows like Big Brother 10. Come on, it''s all around us and it''s getting more and more attention. I hope we wake up someday and smell the pile that has become our consciousness.

The media is following John McCain right into the gutter of American politics. McCain and the media want to talk about anything (including race and Paris Hilton) EXCEPT THE ISSUES, because McCain and the media lose when Americans look at the issues.

McCain%u2019s was the major Senate advocate and supporter for the war in Iraq. McCain%u2019s mistake in judgment cost America more than $1 Trillion and 4,000 American lives. You ought to vote for Senator Obama if you think that the war in Iraq was wrong and harmed our economy during the past 5 years.

Our economy is in huge trouble and McCain wants to perpetuate Bush%u2019s foreign policy and tax cuts for the wealthy: including a $4 billion tax cut for the big oil companies that are eating YOUR lunch. In contrast, Senator Obama will get a windfall profits tax (on those excess Oil Company Profits) that will be rebated to you.

Senator McCain voted with President Bush 95% of the time during the past eight years.

Ask yourself: Are you better off today than you were 8 years ago?

If you think President Bush has done a good job, then McCain is your man. If you like the results of the past 8 years, then vote for McCain, because you will get more of the same for the next 8 years.

At all events, please focus on the issues that are important to you: not the media sideshow.

Are you better off today than you were in 2000?

The Hilton family should withdraw its support to John McCain and endorse Barack Obama. Then, Paris should aggressively campaign for Obama to bring up the youth vote. This would be the best revenge for being ridiculed by the Republicans.
