New McCain Ad Blames Obama For Gas Prices

John McCain's campaign has released a new television ad, "Pump," that directly blames Barack Obama for rising gas prices.

The campaign says the spot will air on cable and in Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, (northern) Virginia, and Wisconsin.

"Gas prices - $4, $5, no end in sight, because some in Washington are still saying no to drilling in America," an announcer says as the spot opens on a solitary gas pump.

"No to independence from foreign oil," the announcer continues. "Who can you thank for rising prices at the pump?"

At this point, a photo of Obama appears onscreen, and chants of "Obama, Obama" can be heard in the background.

"One man knows we must now drill more in America and rescue our family budgets," the announcer adds, as video of McCain appears onscreen.

The spot closes with another, more subtle shot at the presumptive Democratic nominee: "Don't hope for more energy, vote for it. McCain."

What is wrong with the Media? Why can''t they investigate all of Obama''s stories and keep making an issue about them. He''s applying for the most challenging job in the "world".

Thank God McCain has the courage to stand up for Americans with his ads.

Just one of many issues surrounding Obama is enough for me and my community.

Obama has minimal government experience, an anti American Pastor as a mentor, many co workers that are radical leaders, a non practicing Muslim father and an Atheist as a mother. Obama is a fast talker, flip flopper and a racist man running for President: The media and the authorities should be investigating this man.

Just knowing that Louis Farrakhan, anti Semitic, radical, Nation of Islam leader supports Obama should be enough to make our hair stand up on end.
Watch Louis Farrakhan and his followers:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7QUftErt_M

Farrakhan held a rally with 20,000 Islam members in Chicago just a few months ago.

Many questions need answering. Obama''s father was a non practicing Muslim. How do the Muslim nations view Obama? Aren%u2019t we at war?

Why shouldn''t that be a proper question to ask Obama?

Obama is risky and scary. The media should be talking about Obama''s relationships with radical leaders and anti American supporters as much as they should be reporting about a nominee that was being supported by the KKK. What are they afraid of?

This ad is ridiculous, the right wing always goes back to their same old play book of smearing the oppositions with constructed rhetoric. It doesn%u2019t matter if everyone knows they make things up, the only thing that matters are that they say what their base wants to hear%u2026

Rush Limbaugh spouts the same thing every day, %u201Cit%u2019s the Liberals, the Media, and the Clintons my friendthzzzz%u201D as if someone else has been running the country besides the Republicans.

If we could just get the oil companies'' earnings report supressed - made confidential, then Bush/McCain would have it a lot easier.

The oil companies report record profits, most of that money goes to investors, not tapping even the existing allowed oil fields. Supply is not the problem.
Opening up fields in sensitive areas will lower the oil companies'' overhead, and help profits, not you at the pump.
They are holding you hostage by overcharging. I think the American people know this.

How many votes will this cost the Dems? And what will their damage control be?

Their "arguments" are crumbling.

Like Communists, they believe in government control. "Windfall profits tax?"

Communism delivers the control but not the goods. What will fuel our vehicles? And what will be the cost?

Alternative fuels are fine...if they can compete. They cannot.

Dems are making Americans sick. A sick economy. And a sick energy policy.

This is a good, vote-winning ad.

It is wonderful to see how you feed each other''s misconceptions! It is true this is a nation of illiterate clones who lack the basic intuition to make up their own minds about what is happening in your own ecosphere... You need CNN to spell it out for you!

No, friends, America has spoken and we have spoken very clearly. While we do very much love and care for the spotted owl, we care more for those who will wake up tomorrow morning asking for their morning meal... Our kids. Solar is a dream and so is wind. Nuclear is the only self-regenerating form of energy we know of today and France is using it today to supply over 70% of their power needs, but Obama is against it. So what do we have between now and whenever solar and wind catch up? Nothing... So when gas goes up to $20/gallon, my kids will eat whatever we can cultivate in our garden... All this while billions of barrels of oil are being tapped just off the Florida coast by China in Cuban waters... Very wisely done, my fellow Americans!!! On the plus side, we will be much better suited to coexist in the 21st century once we turn into a third world country... Nobody will hate us then!

The truth is self-evident, the war in Iraq and world demand caused the increase in fossil fuel prices.

If we want to become just like the dinasaurs, then lets just keep drilling for fossil fuel.
