Two Clinton Voters On Why They're Not On Board With Obama

(UNITY, N.H.) Laughter rippled through the crowd of over 2,000 at the elementary school field in Unity, New Hampshire, when Hillary Clinton said of her long primary battle with Barack Obama, "I was proud we had a spirited dialogue."

Recovering quickly, Clinton smiled and said that it was the nicest way she could think of phrasing their fight for the nomination.

Hillary Clinton came here to pledge her support to Obama, and the crowd gave each Democrat a warm reception. But not all of Clinton's supporters are on board with her vocal support of her former rival.

Malka Yaacobi, a musician from Cambridge, Massachusetts, said that she voted for Clinton in the primaries, and Obama still did not sit right with her.

"I will not say I'll vote for him," she said. " …I don't trust him and he doesn't have experience."

Chris Baimbridge from Northwood, New Hampshire, also voted for Clinton in her state's primary. Baimbridge said she grew so frustrated with a cable news channel's coverage of Clinton that she could no longer watch it.

"I really believe the press treated her unfairly," she said.

Baimbridge wasn't as dismissive of the idea of voting for Obama in November as Yaacobi was, and she cited John McCain's visit to Liberty University as the reason why she won't consider voting for the Republican.

But Baimbridge said she may just stay home in November. And it wouldn't be much help, in her eyes, if Obama asked Clinton to be his running mate.

"I just don't think Hillary could take second place and be told by somebody else what to do," she said.

Since when is Bill running? He had his 8 years.
A write-vote for Hillary is a vote for McCain, which in turn is a vote for at least 4 more years of war. Think about it people. If you do not support Obama''s ideals then you never really did support Hillary in the first place because they are almost one and the same.

Hi ya, Frank. How are you? Doing well? That''s great. Understand this Frank--if Hillary''s supporters defect and cause Obama to lose the general election, she won''t EVER be President. Know why? Because the rest of the voters including Obama''s supporters now, will give her and her supporters the cold shoulder. If she and you d1ck Obama now--get ready to bend over for the big one in 2012.

It really is just that sweet and simple--you fvck over Obama now--prepare for the fvck of your life in 2012. Have a nice day. :)

In the little church in Penalt, Wales on the Wye River valley, between England and Wales, where Robert Plant once lived and a friend of mine, a FitzHerbert is from, there is an old painting and on it in the church is the Latin motto: Semper Eadum ''always the same'' a motto of the monarchy of Great Britain a place mistakenly thought of as having everywhere the same language, English. I hope the coming campaign stays civil, and we don''t all end asking "Why vote?"

I have to agree with what Junglejimy12 said about Obama trying to sell himself as a good old Southern Black Man. I think above all else, this is the reason I don''t trust the man. There are several Black men who are more qualified than he is to be President and whose heritage is truly African American and for whom I would not hesitate to vote.
But there is so much mystery about this man and his background, which no one is willing to clear up with cold hard facts, that I do not trust him and I will never vote for him.
