Obama And The "Country I Love"

Barack Obama
The Obama campaign is about to go up with its first television ad of the general election, a 60-second spot titled, "Country I Love" which begins airing in 18 states tomorrow.

The ad is biographical in part but also heavy on the patriotism. "I was raised by a single mom and my grandparents," Obama says in the ad. "We didn't have much money, but they taught me values straight from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. Accountability and self-reliance. Love of country. Working hard without making excuses. Treating your neighbor as you'd like to be treated. It's what guided me as I worked my way up – taking jobs and loans to make it through college."

The ad ends with this tagline: "I approved this message because I'll never forget those values, and if I have the honor of taking the oath of office as President, it will be with a deep and abiding faith in the country I love."

The ad will run in Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Virginia. Watch it below:

Who was the politician who swore in using the Koran? News report from 6/20 had clips of politician''s saying it was not Obama, but I don''t trust politicians. I remember the news story from years ago, but I do not remember who it was. Last night''s broadcast used politicians (unreliable sources). I want to know who it was that used the Koran.

Oh whatta crock! Obama hates everything about this country and wants to CHANGE it into some Marxist whack job country!

Give me a break!

He loves this country so much he''s kept himself separate all his adult life from Americans, preferring to associate with foreigners, including terrorist supporters like Khalidi!

Pshaw! Lying idiot!

The outright stupidity and ignorance of the claims against Barack are good in a way, because they show how outright stupid and ignorant many of his detractors are. The very idea that he''''s not a patriotic American is so absurd, ludicrous and over the top that even claiming it shows the detractor to be a complete boob that no serious American would want to associate with, let alone agree with.

The lies and smears I have seen on the internet constantly amaze me. The people that continue to perpetrate this "muslim" myth are either so ignorant as to be pitied, or they are GD LIARS and know it. Get your s.h.i.t. straight people or stop posting!

Yes, HUSSIEN is a Muslim name. In Obama''''s family, it is also a family name.

His Father was a Muslim.
His Grandfather was a Muslim.
His half Brother is an active
Radical Muslim. If you think Obama has a list of questionable ties, you should see his Brother''''s list.

First of all who cares if it is a Muslim name. Being Muslim isn''t a crime. Just like Kennedy being catholic wasn''t a crime. Everything else you said is a lie.

Obama did swear on the bible when he got sworn into the senate also.
No one believes the internet smear campaign. You people are pathetic
