Flood Of Obama Books To Be Released

Prepare for the Obama book blitz.

The Associated Press reports that several books about the presumptive Democratic nominee will be released this summer and fall – everything "from children's stories and photographs to attacks from both the left and the right."

Obama has penned two books of his own, "Dreams From My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope," which have remained on bestseller lists for much of his presidential run.

Some of the Obama-centric books to be released are below. There is, as you'll see, something for just about every taste:

  • "Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope," a children's book.

  • "Yes We Can," another book for young people.

  • "Barack Obama in His Own Words," a collection of speeches.

  • A book on Obama by Evan Thomas and the staff of Newsweek.

  • "The Faith of Barack Obama."

  • "The Rise of Barack Obama."

  • "The Decline of Black Politics: From Malcolm X to Barack Obama," a left-wing critique.

  • "The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate," a right-wing critique.

  • "Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle: 366 Ways He Really Cares."

    And finally...

  • "Obama — The Postmodern Coup: Making of a Manchurian Candidate." The publisher of that one argues that Obama is "the megalomaniac front man for a postmodern coup by the intelligence agencies, using fake polls, mobs of swarming adolescents, superrich contributors and orchestrated media hysteria to short-circuit normal politics and seize power."

    Alicerea1: "The Audacity of Obama....."
    ----------

Alicerea1, Before you dig around in someone else''s closet, check your own first. Obama is a politician, he is going to have skeletons just like any other politician, including HRC:

1 - The Clintons'' two partners in Whitewater wereconvicted of 24 counts of fraud and conspiracy. Hillary Clinton''s partner and mentor at the Rose law firm, Webster Hubbell, pleaded guilty to federal mail fraud and tax evasion charges, including defrauding former clients and former partners out of more than $480,000. Hillary Clinton was mentioned 35 times in the indictment.

2 - IN THE 1980s, Hillary Clinton made a $44,000 profit on a $2,000 investment in a cellular phone franchise deal took advantage of the FCC''s preference for locals, minorities and women. The franchise was almost immediately flipped to the cellular giant, McCaw.

3 - HILLARY CLINTON AND HER HUSBAND set up a resort land scam known as Whitewater in which the unwitting bought third rate property 50 miles from the nearest grocery store and, thanks to the sleazy financing, about half the purchasers, many of them seniors, lost their property.

and there is so much more.....

Silenced? The commitee decided to award all deligates with each getting a half vote, even after all the candidates SIGNED AND AGREED to the Michigan/Florida penalty - Including HILLARY. What part of this don''t you HRC supporters get?? If you don''t believe me, go to her web site at

    http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=3134

it''s all right there - she stated her support for this penalty back in 2007 - but of course, she was ahead in the polls then. Once she discovered she would need the 2 penalized states to win, she did a 180. The DNC was more than generous in it''s ruling.
The HRC supporters at that commitee meeting were an embarrasment.

I am a white working class male. I support Obama, as did my state of Iowa overwhelmingly(98% white). The statement that working class white voters do not support Obama is nothing more than HRC SPIN, and you know it.

TruUSA - Seems like you are on here for every article, shouting in your ALL CAPS. This time, you are claiming to represent the 18 million Hillary supporters.

There was an interview of 7 such supporters on CBS news the other night. Of the 7 women interviewed only one was going to stay home. 4 were definately supporting Obama and the rest were going to wait to see what he has to offer, keeping an open mind. It''''s nice to see that some Hillary supporters have the country''''s best interests at heart, unlike you.
I believe that better than two thirds of Hillary supporters are true democrats and will support Obama in the fall.

Also, while 18 million votes are pretty impressive for a primary race, they are no where near "half" of the democratic party. In 2004, John Kerry received over 59 MILLION votes.

It''''s time to get over it and come together - to support the man that will get us out of Iraq.

If Obama becomes the winner, all Democrats will have to defend his patriotism, his radical left views, his Pastor and Church and God knows what else will turn up until the General election. Florida and Michigan will not forget that their voices were silenced either.

What is so sad, the Democrats had a prayer with Clinton: all the right voting blocs, she attracted big states, white men and women, military voters, Latinos, Jewish voters, Cuban voters, Catholics and Women. She fought for Michigan and Florida, the people mattered.

Now the Democrats have a man, a newcomer, that is strong with elitist and African Americans, wins states like Alaska and Hawaii and has a problem with all of those blocs of voters that Democrats need to win.

Democrats, had Senator Clinton, the strongest candidate in their grasp. Now the weaker of the two, Senator Obama, bubbles to the top with no credentials. Democrats truly blew it.

This is the first time in my life that I am NOT proud to be a Democrat. I am totally embarrassed of our candidate.

Clinton does not need Obama. Obama needs Clinton, without a doubt.

Americans are not stupid. Obama fought for the government. Hillary fought for the people. Who would want a President to not stand up for them?

I will not vote this year along with many in my community. All of us are disgusted with the media coverage for all candidates, even President Bush, but especially for the relentless daily attacks on whites and Senator Clinton.

I am totally embarrassed to have to stand up for Obama, his wife and radical friends and pastors that surround this candidate. I will never be proud of Senator Obama pertaining to his treatment of Michigan and Florida voters. Florida is still raw since the last election and Michigan votes were indeed %u201Chijacked%u201D from Senator Clinton. This was appalling to watch and very disrespectful to American voters.

I would like to express my opinion to my fellow Democrats about this whole primary fiasco:

The Democrats should have won this election.
    People wanted them to win.

Senator Obama is not vetted, and unknown with minimum experience.

For this man, with all of his %u201Cscary%u201D friends and beliefs, to stand tall as our Democratic nominee is absurd.

He is still not vetted and because of that alone, he will lose this general election to McCain. McCain is a safe bet for independent voters, regardless if he is a Republicans.

Democrats would have won, if Hillary was on the top of the ticket.

Now that Obama has blocked votes from Michigan and Florida and taken delegates from Senator Clinton, he will win the primary. But was it really worth it for him to win the way he did? Michigan and Florida will not forget his silencing them. He will lose those same states in November?
