Clinton Says Wright Was Obama's Choice

In an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review editorial board, Hillary Clinton weighed in on the controversy surrounding Barack Obama's former pastor and longtime friend Jeremiah Wright, saying, "he would not have been my pastor. … You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend."

According to the paper, Clinton continued: "You know, I spoke out against Don Imus [who was fired from his radio and television shows after making racially insensitive remarks], saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that. … I just think you have to speak out against that. You certainly have to do that, if not explicitly, then implicitly by getting up and moving." (Thanks to CBS News political consultant Marc Ambinder for the tip).

ONCE AGAIN....Obama may find himself in hot water--not for something he did, but for who he knows. Those Rezko indictments are sure to heat up and spill over and cause damage!! Unfortunately for Hillary--she can''''''''t catch a break, soon to potentially break in the news is the story before the California appeals court which show not only that a campaign fraud done by her mgr concerning Paul and Lee was ugly, but that Hillary (HERSELF ONCE AGAIN)was involved. At issue is a 250K donation made to her senatorial campaign. Her staff said she had no knowledge of it, so she was not roped into the scandal when her campaign mgr faced charges of hiding that money from the IRS.

Unfortunately VIDEO may again place Hill in deep doo, doo. It seems there is a video tape recording her discussing the fund raiser with the donors (on it, she talks about who would be there and what they will do) this means she performed what is known as a direct campaign request. donations from donors for that kind of request are limited to 25K. Since the donation was for 250K, that would be considered campaign fraud.

Woe is Hillary and Damnnnn those videos and tape recordings that make being a great liar so hard to keep up these days!!! ROTFLMAO.

Given those factors, it would still be a disenfranchisement of voters--just not so many Hillary voters. Blame this one on the states for moving the dates up against the rules ALREADY knowing what the punishment would be. As for fairness--what about the Fairness to Edwards? Mi may have made all the difference into keeping him in...

So, it IS Obama blocking the Michigan revote knowing that just like the first vote, he would lose. Something about that seems a little dishonest.

when I heard about that at first, I disputed it, but after research, found out it was true--I also found out some of the reasons why he was blocking it here some are:"Obama objects because any of his supporters who voted in the GOP primary (the one that counted in MI) cannot vote in the Dem primary, which would have been their original choice.

Also, you have to vote in person once before you can receive an absentee ballot, meaning that new voters would not have as many options.

Why would Obama agree to a do-over when two of his large support groups are not allowed to participate? That is merely a second illegitimate election.

And as pointed out earlier, when you gamble, you need to face the fact you could lose. MI and FL decided the throw their political muscle around and challenge the DNC. They lost. It is only now that they are realizing the ramifications of this loss, but being dumb with your bets really isn''t a great rationale to receiving preferential treatment (unless you are an investment bank, of course)." Polls this evening for the candidates show that favorable rating for Obama is at 45% now, dropped from 47% from a week ago and 60% from January.

Favorable ratings for Hillary now are 37% dropped from 47% a week ago and down from about 55% in January

This is from polls on Abc and Nbc tonight with a gallup poll echoing this. Obama''s electability is at 60% right now (I believe according to the gallup poll) McCains is at 58% and Hillary''s is at lower than 58% (can''t remember the #) The consensus is the Wright flap hurt Obama a lot less than Hillary''s lies hurt herself and McCain has only gained.

In other news, 28% of Hillary supporters threaten to support McCain if Hillary is not the nom. (she probably won''t be) and 19% of Obama supporters are making the same kind of revenge threat voting. Guess we know which side has more sore losers. Ah well. From the Independent perspective, Hillary''s campaign is being viewed by more as more negative and ugly than Obama''s and according to NBC, 6 superdelegates have indicated they will probably move to Obama''s circle, because the Wright thing today with Hillary is the last straw.....and her supporters thought it was all in good fun....

The only reason that she is speaking out against Wright. Is because of the Blacks that support her. Knowing if she turn on Wright, she will turn on them.And there goes the votes.

How interesting. So is Obama trying for the job of Messiah or President? There is no such thing as a plan to legislate private sentiment or perception of races. The author is ridiculous..That said, there are steps to achieving anything and I would proffer you start with:

1. Identify the problem and all of its aspects (don''''t be shy or biased)
2. Have a vision or idea
3. Speak about it and inspire the public to come on board
4. Gather together people from various professions who can implement and steward this vision
5. Tell the public what onus is on them then proceed apace--making adjustments as necessary.

Only 3 of these things can be done before one needs the power to do the rest. Obama has done the 3. On the issue of this (ie., race) I fail to see Clinton putting forth any ideas or vision save to tout her personal horn.Which is fine only if America is a voice of 1 person. We are not hiring either candidate to inspire or lead themselves. WE are auditioning each of them to inspire and lead us--that means no matter if we come in as black, white, purple, green or racist or tolerant. so what SHE would do as a person has no more bearing than what HE does as a person. How will either of them bring us together? At least Obama has started the dialog. Hillary has some catching up to do on this issue.
