The Barack Obama campaign just sent out a press release announcing that Obama has accepted invitations to debate in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Earlier, the Hillary Clinton campaign sent out a release announcing the former first lady had agreed to participate in the Pennsylvania debate, which is scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on April 16th.

The North Carolina debate, which would be hosted by CBS News and moderated by Katie Couric and Bob Schieffer, is scheduled for April 19th. The location has not been determined.

"Senator Obama welcomes the opportunity to openly debate Senator Clinton on the issues important to Americans in North Carolina and Pennsylvania and hopes that she will accept these invitations as well," Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in the release.

The Clinton release stated that "Hillary is prepared to show she has real solutions for the problems facing residents of the Keystone State." No word yet from the Clinton camp on the North Carolina debate.

Obama missed the most votes of
any democrat 80% he has not done the first job why give him another
one

Posted by popstom1 at 06:47 PM : Mar 14, 2008-----Really. No confusion as to my employment status if I even missed a fraction of that job attendance. Why, doesn''t Jesus say in the New Testament that those who are faithful with little are also faithful with much?

ADarkStorm,

What with all your comments shared, it''''s only more sensible to put a man in charge this election year--not OLD man McCain mind you, but a young man who can complete his term in office without the benefit of geritol or daily naps.

That''s one take. Here is additional thoughts; If our current administration were to declare a ''State of Emergency'' an election would effectively be eliminated. If the Super Delegates dtermine that neither Democratic candidate is acceptable / what''s best for U.S. or the party or it is too close to call, they can appoint another who is not currently campaigning for the Democratic Nominee. There are many things at work behind the scenes while the general public is having embroiled and distracted by many issues.

Is the United States moving toward military action with Iran? The resignation of the top U.S. military commander for the Middle East is setting off alarms that the Bush administration is intent on using military force to stop Iran''s moves toward gaining nuclear weapons... Here are six developments that may have Iran as a common thread.
1. [Admiral] Fallon''s resignation
2. Vice President Cheney''s peace trip
3. Israeli airstrike on Syria
4. Warships off Lebanon
5. Israeli comments
6.Israel''s war with Hezbollah
How much more war can this country support. This question is not amoral, but a financial one. Next, who better to take control and properly handle the situation of finances, current war and impending war.

desertclair,

Here''s a dose of reality for you, Hillary, Geraldine Ferraro, etc.: America needs a man''s hand to guide us through the next four years. Not an OLD man either...sorry to burst your bubble, McCain. Got geritol? NOT!

With all the deaths of people surrounding the Clintons during Bills term as governor and president have the American people been duped. I listed at least 10 the last time I posted, and that was just the tip of the Clinton Iceberg. There was a prosecutor''s mother, a lawyer, a business accociate, Someone who had an argument with Bill, an associate of that person, a business associate of Hillary, and so on. There was Hillary''s "Rose Law Firm", there was the Smuggling drugs in fake cones of the Airplanes, and that list goes on. Are the American people duped by Hillary and Bill. That would be a big YES!!!!

After listening to Obama%u2019s pastor preach against whites with incredible hatred %u2026 Have those drawn to Obama simply been duped?

I''m afraid so. Even Obama may not be conscious of the extent of his own racism. But the fact he %u201Cprojects%u201D the motivation of racism onto others like Bill, Hillary and Ferraro%u2014who have fought their entire political careers for racial equality%u2014is a sign that lurking in his heart might be racist points of view. How else could he feel comfortable sitting at the feet of this pastor?

There is no way Obama can win the general election against McCain with this kind of connection to racist views against whites. The Republicans will blow this up and scare everyone, since he has family members that are Muslim too.

The question I imagine they will ask people to consider is:

How can you trust him as President to represent all the people of this great nation, when he is comfortable listening to a preacher who teaches hatred against whites and has a basic anti-American sentiment?

Hey people, listen up! Clinton is a woman. OLD man McCain is too old. So, the only real choice here is Obama. Deal with it! Also, remember this, OBAMA''s minister isn''t running for president. Get it!
