Clinton Hits Obama, Offers Populist Appeal In New Spots

The Hillary Clinton campaign unveiled a pair of new ads this morning – one taking a shot at rival Barack Obama, and the other pushing Clinton as the candidate who is going to bring jobs back to Ohio.

The first spot, "True," is a response to Obama's response to Clinton's controversial national security spot. (Got that?)

"Barack Obama says he has the judgment to be president," an announcer says in the new Clinton spot. "But as chairman of an oversight committee charged with the force of fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, he was too busy running for president to hold even one hearing."

Watch it:

The other spot, "Partner," echoes the populist theme that Clinton has been pushing in recent weeks. It will run in Texas.

"It's time that the American worker had a partner in the White House," Clinton says in the spot, which also features testimonials about how Clinton will fight for jobs and families. "The wealthy and the well connected have had a president," Clinton says. "It's time the middle class had a president."

Right. Remember the recent torture bill that would make it illegal for the CIA to waterboard or use any interrogation techniques not in the Army''s Field Marshal guide? McCain, pandering to the right, voted no. Obama voted yes. Hillary DID NOT VOTE. Never too busy, Hillary?

Compare Obama''s response in the Clinton ad to the original debate video (@ approx 4:40).

Obama''s complexion is about five shades darker in the Clinton ad.

The National Security Ad is true and overdue. I want a president who didn''t treat his/her U.S. Senate term as just a speedbump on the road to White House. Check this out:
"As chairman of the subcommittee on Senate Foreign Relations responsible for NATO and Europe, Obama, by his own admission, said he has been too busy running for president to organize a single policy hearing on Afghanistan --none. At the same time that Obama was racking up one of the worst attendance records in the Senate, Senator Clinton chaired extensive hearings of the Subcommittee on Superfund and Environmental Health and attended many others as a member of the Armed Service Committee."

America, the Obama hot air balloon ride is starting to descend and people, even the media, are beginning to realize that the hard work of being President requires strength, conviction, fortitude and yes, experience. We all know that Hillary meets all of these and then some. She has shown courage and strength under fire and against all odds. She will not only succeed as the nominee but will indeed become one of the greatest Presidents this nation has ever known.

Don''t vote on charisma vote on lifetime achievement and diligence. Don''t let sexism cloud your judgement at the polls. Hillary has the right stuff, she''s tougher and smarter and more experienced and savvy.

How could anyone have watched the 60 Minutes interviews by Steve Kroft last night, and still think that Hillary Clinton is a decent, honest person? I could not believe that she would stoop so low, I hope the people of Ohio were watching her answers carefully, and saw the lies and deception. Obviously, Hillary knows exactly where and when the "rumors" about Obama got started, but Kroft let her get away without answering the question. It was so clear that her campaign will stop at nothing to destroy Obama and anyone else who gets in her way.

YOU ARE AN IDIOT IF YOU THINK YOU ARE VOTING FOR "BILL" CLINTON AND NOT HILLARY. MOST OF HERFAN''S REMARKS ARE BASED ON HER HUSBAND BILL CLINTON AND HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE PRESIDENCY. HILLARY IS NOT "BILL" AND YOU MUST BE AN IDIOT IF YOU THINK HE IS RUNNING AGAIN.

Excuse Me BARE-ak! You state that you have the "judgment" to be President? Now let me think...according to Webster, "judgment" is also defined as "an opinion!" Why has not the media picked up on this? Are we American people to believe that an "opinion" is a better choice of words than Hillary''s choice of "experience?" LAME CHOICE of words BARE-ak! STAY IN THE RACE HILLARY CLINTON!
