Clinton, In "Solutions Business," Hits Obama Over Debate
Hillary Clinton's campaign has unveiled a new ad in Wisconsin, "Debate," which hits rival Barack Obama for not agreeing to participate in a debate in the state. Wisconsin voters go to the polls next Tuesday..
"Both Democratic candidates were invited to a televised debate here in Wisconsin," an announcer says in the spot. "Hillary Clinton has said yes. Barack Obama hasn't. Maybe he'd prefer to give speeches than have to answer questions."
What questions, you ask?
"Like why Hillary Clinton has the only health care plan that covers every American, and the only economic plan that freezes foreclosures," the announcer says.
Clinton also isn't going easy on Obama on the stump. The day after losing all three Potomac primary contests by a wide margin, she cast herself as the candidate who offers specific solutions at an appearance in Texas.
``I am in the solutions business,'' Clinton said, according to the Associated Press. ``My opponent is in the promises business.''
