Clinton, In "Solutions Business," Hits Obama Over Debate

Hillary Clinton's campaign has unveiled a new ad in Wisconsin, "Debate," which hits rival Barack Obama for not agreeing to participate in a debate in the state. Wisconsin voters go to the polls next Tuesday..

"Both Democratic candidates were invited to a televised debate here in Wisconsin," an announcer says in the spot. "Hillary Clinton has said yes. Barack Obama hasn't. Maybe he'd prefer to give speeches than have to answer questions."

What questions, you ask?

"Like why Hillary Clinton has the only health care plan that covers every American, and the only economic plan that freezes foreclosures," the announcer says.

Clinton also isn't going easy on Obama on the stump. The day after losing all three Potomac primary contests by a wide margin, she cast herself as the candidate who offers specific solutions at an appearance in Texas.

``I am in the solutions business,'' Clinton said, according to the Associated Press. ``My opponent is in the promises business.''

Clinton pays rent; money goes to Obama.

PORTSMOUTH %u2014 Rochester physician Terry Bennett said he believes the only reason Sen. Hillary Clinton''s campaign paid for renting a building he owns in Portsmouth is because he became the "squeaky wheel."

Now, Bennett said, he will donate the $500 check to Sen. Barack Obama''s rival presidential campaign. He said he''s doing it because he likes Obama, but also as a statement on the way he feels he was treated by the staff of the Clinton campaign.

rozz62 is a little crazy. Three Posts about some whack-*** Kenya story. Sounds like the Billary supporters are up to their ears in BS. Way to keep on the muslim lies too, even though everyone knows it''s false. Stick to the issues, pal.

It''s funny how Hillary claims Obama doesn''t care about the Wisconsin voters because he won''t do ANOTHER debate, even though she has been in Texas and Ohio ever since the Potomac. If she cares so much about Wisconsin, why isn''t she in Wisconsin?

Her health care plan only covers everyone because she says she will garnish our wages if we can''t afford it. With so many people having finacial troubles, do we really want her taking money out of our paychecks?

Obama has raised a considerable amount of money from the American people and therefore he is obligated to the American people. Who is Hillary obligated to?

When he said he was going to run a grassroots campaign the status quo said ''it couldn''t be done'', but yet he did do it and it has turned out to be more successful that the status quo way of doing things.

Here is evidence of Obama proposing an idea and turning it into substance. Here is Obama showing his ability to motivate and inspire people turning into concrete success and making the seemingly impossible possible. You cannot refute those facts, you can only chose not to acknowledge them.

The success of Obama''s campaign, and therefore testament to his leadership skills, is in the accuracy of their message, planning, unity and cohesion over the course of this campaign. There has been no sackings, no having to change message to try and find footing. All of this attests to someone we should have great faith in as a leader.

Mrs. Clinton is obviously the most qualified candidate in both parties. I%u2019m an American I stay up late to watch the debates. So far she is the only candidate that demonstrated the qualities and experience that US needs during these turbulent times.

Obama may be brilliant, but certainly not ready for the 2008 White House. Politics isn''t about looking nice and talking sweet; it''s about tough choices and decisions. Americans have to separate enthusiasm founded on wishes and dreams from pedigree, know-how, and a demonstrated capacity to deliver.
The thought of women in power is bringing out the worse in the media %u2013 they are making up the news instead of reporting what is really going on. Women and Men, who truly want a change, get out and vote for Hillary %u2013 don%u2019t let the media and the republicans control this one!

We are million voting for Hillary more then half we will never vote for BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA if Hillary is not the nominee of the Democrats we will vote Republican. True Independents

I DONT WANT TO GO TO A WEBSITE WHERE OBAMA''S CAMPAIGN STAFF HAS LAID OUT ALL HIS PLANS FOR ALL TO SEE.THEM NOT HIM --I WANT TO HEAR HIM TALK ONE ON ONE ABOUT THEM WITH HILLARY AND ANSWER THE HARD QUESTIONS WITHOUT A SCRIPT IN FRONT OF HIM. AS WAS SAID LAST NITE--- YOU DONT RAISE THE KIND OF MONEY HE IS-- AND NOT BE GREATLY INDEBTED TO "SOMEONE" AND SHARPTON-JACKSON-OPRAH- ARE SURE TO BE THE FIRST THREE ON THE LIST.. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT... WHETHER YOU LIKE HILLARY OR YOU DONT.--- SHE HAS AND CONTINUES TO BE AT A GREAT DISADVANTAGE IN THIS RACE.-THE PRESS IS CONSTANTLY ON HER= AND PRAISING OBAMA-= SHE CANNOT COMPETE WITH OBAMA AS SHE WOULD WITH ANY OTHER ADVERSARY-BECAUSE RIGHT AWAY THEY CALL OUT THE RACE CARD. IT IS WHAT IT IS. AND THIS HAS BEEN AN UNFAIR RACE LITERALLY. OBAMA HAS IT MADE AND HE KNOWS IT- HE IS IN A WIN WIN SITUATION....

If Hillary is so great at the solutions business, perhaps she can find a solution on why people are leaving her campaign in droves.

Expect to see Bill and Hill Clinton sling mud like a high speed GOP swift boat - beaten in the last 8 races.

PS - That''''s why people are leaving your campaign.

Not only that, this chick is woefully poor at managing other people''s money. She starts off the campaign touting a war chest of 100 million bucks, yet now, she''s nearly flat busted, disgusted and surely not to be trusted. One wonders where she got the 5 mil to lend herself, now that''s rich, since as her old man said, they are operating on shoestrings nowadays. What''s more, she''s a sore loser, she can''t even accept defeat; and does anyone truly believe, that she is going to lose her veto pen, the same way that she has lost all this money? Does anyone truly believe, that she will manage the government any different than she is managing her campaign? And does anyone truly believe, that she won''t lend us back our money that she will lose with all of her hair brained policies? Look out.

Although Obama has 11 years of legislative experience (5 more years than Hillary) his critics cry "no fair" only the national legislation counts. O.K.--even within these parameters, Obama has passed into law in 3 years (with bills that he authored or co-authored) 5 pieces of substantive legislation, while Hillary has passed into law in 6 years time, 6 substantive bills that she has authored or coauthored. He essentially has accomplished the same job in half the time. Although Hillary has about 26 bills that have become law, 20 of them are things like "name post office after Thurgood Marshall" and "Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men''s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship." Here are the substantive legislation each has passed:

Hillary:
1. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11.
2. Pay for city projects in response to 9/11
3. Assist landmine victims in other countries.
4. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.
5. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.

Here is Obama''s:
1. the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
2. The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
3.The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
4.The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
5.The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee)
