Bill Clinton Alleges Voter Suppression In Nevada

Ben Smith at our partner Politico reports that Bill Clinton has claimed to have personally witnessed voter suppression in Nevada.

The alleged suppressors: Representatives of the 60,000-strong Culinary Workers Union, which has endorsed Barack Obama.

"Today when my daughter and I were wandering through the hotel, and all these culinary workers were mobbing us telling us they didn't care what the union told them to do, they were gonna caucus for Hillary," Clinton reportedly said.

Clinton continued: "There was a representative of the organization following along behind us going up to everybody who said that, saying 'if you're not gonna vote for our guy we're gonna give you a schedule tomorrow so you can't be there.' So, is this the new politics? I haven't seen anything like that in America in 35 years."

Culinary Workers political director Pilar Weiss called Clinton's suggestion "ludicrous" and "technically impossible." Smith notes that "Vegas papers haven't found any evidence of the kind of straightforward voter suppression Clinton reports."

"We have found it shocking that President Clinton has gotten so engaged in promoting these accusations," Weiss told Politico.

I have been a Clinton fan for almost 17 years years now. When Obama threw his hat in, my mind was already set on Hillary. That since has changed. Obama''s approach is more aboveboard and charismatic. His ideas on health-care are more honest! His stand on the War in Iraq is very straightforward. Obama is a team builder; while Clinton is not. She calls Chicago home, but spent over 15 in Arkansas with Bill and Carpetbegged her way into a Senate seat in New York...Strange the things we once thought were admirable have become so distasteful. Clean up your campaign and show some Integrity Hillary and Bill...I''m no longer a fan Obama ''08!

I didn''''t really see anything negative (Let alone "particularly negative". But the URL takes a strong, reasonable position. IMHO Obama will be more ready next time.

Then you must be blind! You don''t think those images half way down the page on the right of Sen. Obama were negative, along with the negative comments? Give me a break! In addition Foxnews cited many web sites, I just Posted one! Try this one:

I just looked at this website. It focuses on the dearth of coverage re: sexism (versus racism) in the campaign. I didn''t really see anything negative (Let alone "particularly negative". But the URL takes a strong, reasonable position. IMHO Obama will be more ready next time.

As far as I can tell Senator Barack Obama is running a clean, above board campaign. FoxNews reported today thats not the case with the Clinton campaign! FoxNews cited several anti-Obama underground web sites run by Clinton supporters in addition to negative mailers and phone calls attacking Obama that escape the attention of national news media outlets. One such web site against Sen. Obama is particularly negative: http://www.hillarynowobamalater.org/

In addition, the anti-Obama web sites are registered via proxy private domains so that it can''t be determined who set them up! I don''t like the underhanded, underground campaign run by Clinton supporters, I don''t like the fact that Sen. Obama is running against Bill Clinton who is not even in the race and I don''t like the divisive female vs. male wink and pitch run by Sen. Clinton which is divisive even without race! It looks like Sen. Clinton will win the Democratic nomination, but at what price, what cost and what will be the aftermath leading up to the General Election? Dirty Politics come at a price and the General Election will be ripe for another Republican victory as a result of a wounded and divided Democratic Party!

Notice the Clintons ALLEDGE Voter Suppression BEFORE the Caucus (investigated by the Las Vegas Sun and and nothing found). THEN after the Caucus, Obama supporters tell troubles and all edge Voter Suppression for which they are investigating and reporting specifics of. NOW, didn''t hearing Bill''s charges FIRST sort of blunt the effects of Obamas charges? I wonder if that is why Bill put it out there in the first place. They play games. Not so nice games.
