News Ads From Romney And Huckabee, Contrasting Styles

Mitt Romney's campaign will launch a new ad in Iowa tomorrow contrasting his record against Mike Huckabee's on crime. You can see the ad here. Text:
"Two pro-life Governors. Both support a constitutional amendment to protect traditional marriage. The difference? Romney got tough on drugs like meth. He never pardoned a single criminal. And Mike Huckabee? He granted 1,033 pardons and commutations, including 12 convicted murderers. Huckabee granted more clemencies than the previous three governors combined. Even reduced penalties for manufacturing methamphetamine. On crime. The difference is judgment."

For his part, Huckabee will reportedly begin running a new ad in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina that is more a televised Christmas card than contrast ad – or is it? In the ad, Huckabee bemoans the rash of political ads at the holiday season when what people really want to think about is "the birth of Christ." Here's the not-so-subtle text, you can see the ad here:
"Are you about worn out of all the television commercials you've been seeing, mostly about politics? I don't blame you. At this time of year, sometimes it's nice to pull aside from all of that and just remember that what really matters is the celebration of the birth of Christ and being with our family and our friends. I hope that you and your family will have a magnificent Christmas season. And on behalf of all of us, God bless and merry Christmas."

Bill Clinton & Al Gore never quoted the Bible!!!! Even Jesus said faith is a very personal thing and you should keep it to yourself not tell anyone about it -He said everyone is going to heaven including Hitler, Stalin and all murderous God Haters who were smart enought to KEEP FAITH in anyone but themselves OUT OF POLITICS!!!

Contrasting styles indeed. Romney talks about issues relevant to a presidential campaign, Huckabee talks about religion. Romney contrasts their leadership and policies. Huckabee contrasts their religions. Huckabee wants to look like the good guy, but he can''t because the religion card is the only card he has and (whatever he says to the contrary) he intends to keep playing it.

Mitt Romney is best for America. His leadership is proven by his great "example" as a family man, as governor in Massachusetts, and as a turnaround leader in Saltlake City Olympics. Playing "religious card" like Huckabees famous idea is decieving--to "make believe"-- that he is "a man of integrity." Hucks records showed a "can of worms." How can he be an effective leader to our struggling society? The "bottomline" is--we need someone like Mitt Romney to lead this country for good.

Liberals sure seem to be fascinated with the Republican primary%u2026and scared to death of Huckabee! Only democrats could believe that Christmas is not about Christ, that evolution is not a faith based theory or that our country was not founded upon biblical Christianity. To help you think through a couple of those topics, try:

If we are to consider ourselves truly intelligent and scientific, we must be willing to consider all history and truth, know the difference between theory and science and be able to back up our faith with facts.

God bless and Merry Christmas!

As a side note, have you seen Huckabee daughter She makes chelsea look real attractive... I know I am going to seem like jerk, but I don''t care. Almost every person I have met from Arkansas looks like they have lived in the back woods for 3 generations inbreeding and drinking moonshine....

You be the judge, look at Huckleberry daughter, not to mention his son hang a freakin dog on a tree and beat it to death...

No to Huckabee. Just saw the recent Iowa polls, he is already dropping. 5 percent down from last week, I am afraid Iowans had no idea who he was, just that he was funny and stroked the Jesus stuff.

Huckabee just seems like a Pro life Bill Clinton, except worse on the stuff that matters....

I have to say No to Huckabee, I do like Mitt Romney. I think he is smart and ethical and he doesn''t wear his faith on this sleeve, just goes about his business and works really hard.

Mitt Romney is not the process of elimation candidate, he is the best candidate.
