Paul Hauls In Over $5 Million For Third Quarter

Ron Paul
CBS News' Joy Lin reports that Ron Paul's campaign raised over $5 million in the third quarter. The libertarian-minded GOP candidate has attracted a dedicated following with his call to end the war in Iraq and advocacy of less government involvement in American life and commerce. The Texas Congressman has clashed with other Republican candidates in many of the televised debates on the war. Paul's take this past quarter is $2 million more than he raised during the first two quarters.

Clarification: This post has been altered to make clear that Paul is a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination.

Ron Paul is a sincere and honest gentleman and we all need to struggle to assist his campaign financially...even if it hurts a little, we must sacrifice and send additional funds to Dr Paul''s campaign during the next few months....after paying the mortgage, car payments, and feeding the Children of course....We may not have another chance like this one....I have been following Dr Ron Paul since the seventies when I was in college in west Texas, and this is the FIRST time his message has really been noticed since the seventies...I am 56 years young now, and most likely will never again have this opportunity, to support a man who will make FREEDOM RING for our Children here in America...as never before.........

Our culture needs an informed electorate or we are doomed!
We must start paying attention to candidates who are already bought and paid for by the time they are nominated by the Big Two.
Ron Paul has the chops to wake up the masses. Give him a chance America!
I kicked in $100 bucks. Help him to stay in the race, if only to force the REP/DEMS to answer the hard questions instead of allowing up to become preoccupied by the traditional false issues of flag burning, gay marriage, abortion etc.
Rome is burning America...
Wake up!!!

I owe our Paul devotee an apology. Lower name recognition than Kucinich, yet still manages to pull in a larger canvasing budget for McCain.

I''m impressed. Kudos to you, little warrior. Kudos.

Ron Paul introduced legislation that would end taxes on "tips" so if you are a server, dancer, performer and fighting to pay the bills, you are able to keep more of your hard earned cash! Ron Paul will also end this war ASAP!!
