Steve Wozniak in line for Apple's new iPad

(CBS News) Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was spotted waiting in line for the new iPad this morning at an Apple Store in Century City, Calif. Wozniak arrived at 2 p.m. PT on Thursday and was No. 2 in line. His wife, who was the first in line, arrived at 12 p.m. PT.

"I'd rather be in there, and be, like, genuine, like the real people," Wozniak told web host Shira Lazar. "I want to be one of the people lined up and wait all night, and you know Apple's just that important to us, to so many of us. So, why not, you know?"

This isn't the first time Wozniak camped out for an Apple product launch. Last October, Wozniak was the first in line for the iPhone 4S at the Apple Store in Los Gatos, Calif. The enthusiastic co-founder also waited in line at the Apple Store at Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, Calif. for the iPhone 3G in July 2008

Wozniak was in the Los Angeles area to deliver a keynote speech at the 2012 Apple Investor Summit.
