Angry Birds take off in "space"

(CBS) - Angry Birds is blasting into space!

The popular mobile game is launching Angry Birds Space on March 22. Angry Birds developers Rovio announced the game today and released a teaser trailer.

A bona fide phenomenon, the game is a physics-based game that shoots birds from a sling-shot to destroy buildings and take down green pigs. As the game progresses, the structures become more complex.

Angry Birds Space will be the fourth installment of the series and will join Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.
