Apple attempts to ban Steve Jobs action figure

Steve Jobs action figure is all sorts of creepy
The Telegraph reports that Apple is "allegedly threatening to sue" In Icons, the toymaker that is releasing a 12-inch action figure of Jobs. And the company reportedly stated in a "letter to the Chinese manufacturer that any toy that resembles the technology company's logo, person's name, appearance or likeness of its products is a criminal offense."
While the sources of the matter are unclear, it sounds accurate. Apple is extremely protective over its brand.
"Apple can do anything they like," In Icons' Tandy Cheung told ABC News. "I will not stop, we already started production."
According to ABC News, Cheung claims he consulted with several lawyers in Hong Kong who said the company was in the clear as long as no Apple products were included with the doll.
News of the Jobs action figure made headlines this week because of its life-like resemblance to the Apple co-founder.
The action figure will retail for $99 and includes Jobs' iconic uniform of blue jeans, black turtleneck, New Balance sneakers and two pairs of glasses.
