(CBS) - Girl-power kudos to Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey and
Taylor Swift for making the top 10 in Forbes' "World's Most Powerful Celebrities" list. But, something stunned us -- Gaga landed on top, giving
Oprah the number-two spot.
Last year, Oprah was numero uno and Gaga came in fourth.
So how did Gaga climb the list? Although Oprah takes the cake for her money and TV prowess, Gaga was number one when it came to social media and the Web (number eight in money, three in TV/radio and two in press). When it came to social and Web, Oprah landed in the 13th slot for each respectively.
As of today, Gaga has over 34.3 million likes on her Facebook page and over 10.2 million followers on Twitter. Oprah, on the other hand, has 5.7 million likes on her Facebook page and over 5.9 million followers on Twitter.
The 25-year-old pop icon earned $90 million in a year, while Oprah's earnings topped at $290 million. So either way, they're both winners, and boy, are we jealous of those salaries.
Other fab femmes in the top 100 include Angelina Jolie (11), Katy Perry (12), Jennifer Aniston (21), Bethenny Frankel (42), Sandra Bullock (44), and Jennifer Lopez (50). Britney Spears and Madonna did not make the cut this time around.
