Is the end of the world coming like this image from the movie "2012?"

(CBS) - We're not rapture experts or anything, but it seems every time someone is screaming about Judgement Day and the Apocalypse, that someone is a man. That's not to say that women don't say plenty of crazy things, just not this particular brand of crazy.

Take most recent case in point Harold Camping and his army of branded vans. According to the Christian broadcaster, the first day of "end of days" is May 21, 2011. Then God will destroy the Earth five months after -- October 21, 2011 to be exact.

Well naturally we though that was kind of funny. But we weren't the only ones. Folks in the Twitterverse are having a blast making jokes in the short time they have left. Check out our favorite rapture tweets.

Harold Camping's predictions on the End of the World 21 May 2011 were correct! This footage was filmed on 21 May 2011 a few moments before 6:00 pm Eastern Time. The Apocalypse was upon us, but the Earth was spared by "A Friend"

Any who are arrogant about "I made it" will not make it. Those who look back with tears from the suffering will do just fine. Their tears will be wiped away. We are saved by grace, and when we accept Jesus, we are saying, we are willing to follow His commands. We better wake up and get serious while we still have the time.

The Bible is not of God's true words. And all words are able to be read in more than one way. Use your hearts, help each other out. Love is love. Not...Love me or go to hell!!!!!
Man...follow the money train and you will see how man uses the Bible to scare the masses to follow like puppets.
God is the light in us that is love...nothing more! I don't care how or what you name the highest part of us, I like to say light-love, or higher power, or the creator of us all.

I can't believe how people really believe that "God" is a being of unconditional love, but religion, usually christains, believe in mans interpretations of "God" are of a fear based love. It makes no sense to believe in a book, written by mans interpretation of what message we were to recieve. God is in us all, there is NO outside disconnection of that. No, he loves us if we believe in him!" How stupid people are. There is only LOVE! Everything else is our perceptions of what we believe in. We have all been brain washed in something that is of fear based religions. Love me or go to hell?? Really??....Wake up people. USe your heart to feel god in you. It is only love from out of this world. Love is an energy in us. Use it.My motto is: "WHAT WOULD LOVE DO?"

It won't be the 21st of May since there are so many prophecies that haven't taken place yet and like it or not God does not use time as man thinks of time.
The elements of the rapture has been hurtling toward us at the speed of light for centuries and will be here soon enough. There is no need to hurry it up. We will hear the loudest noise ever heard and many will be changed. The sky will be on fire as far as we can see and as it fast approaches us we may remember the oxygen we are breathing is fuel.
