The Technology that Turns a Harley into a Harley (Pictures)
In 1903, an iconic American brand was born when a couple of inventors named William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson introduced their first motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson brand, which became an American cultural icon in the post-World War 2 era, has since gained world renown.
Recently, a reporter from our sister site CNET, visited the Harley-Davidson production facility in south-central Pennsylvania for a private tour of the factory a few weeks before the company showed its 2011 models to its dealer network earlier this week. Check out our accompanying image gallery for a look at the new models as well as the factory floor where you can see what goes into the making of "a Harley."
