Katie Couric's Notebook
As the song goes, Christmastime is here. But along with the happiness and cheer, it brings a boatload of stress.

Right now, odds are you're worried about all the gifts you still need to buy, the visits from out-of-town guests…and that turkey which won't bake itself.

A website called grandparents.com surveyed baby boomers about their holiday headaches. 85 percent said they're worried about the cost of all the gifts and grub. 30 percent say they are anxious over family feuds and sibling spats at the dinner table. While there may be no place like home for the holidays, 11 percent of hosts wish you'd pick someone else's.

And one study found that holiday stress might be bad for your heart, stating cardiac deaths increase by 33 percent between November and January.

Don't let all that running around...run you into the ground.

Take a moment to sit back, relax and have a cup of holiday cheer…before the holidays are actually here.

That's a page from my notebook.

I'm Katie Couric, CBS News.

Twas the night before Christmas
and all through CBS
there wasn't an ounce of talent
I must confess

The ratings are so low
that they stink up the joint
Katie Couric's only skill
is reading the DEM's talking points

Obama says jump
and Katie says, "How high?"
It doesn't really matter, Katie
just repeat the big lie

No one is quite sure
how CBS got in this hole
But its Obama to the rescue
Here comes the government dole

So we're stuck with Katie Couric
for many years to come
I'd rather shoot myself Santa
So please bring me a gun.
